The things makes it extremely hard is the ball coming at you at the speed of more than 95+ miles per hour and due to condition of atmosphere it swings in the air and after bouncing as well which leaves batsman clueless...in the other the spinning ball takes turn after bouncing which is also very hard to read and be able to hit into the fence

As someone who grew learning and playing a bit of both cricket and baseball I found the key difference between the two to be the type of athleticism. In baseball you need more instantaneous power where you need to hit the ball down ground hard in one go and run with all your might between bases. In cricket on the other hand you need more stamina and control since you have to keep hitting the ball and running between stumps for a long period of time over multiple balls.

His name translates to "Prince", He's one of the gems that India produced in the sport, revered by many, fought cancer, came back strong! (retired recently) the other batsman at the non-striker end is MS Dhoni. It's a record in T-20 cricket that hasn't been broken yet that too done on a grand stage like World cup. Obviously, this video holds a special place in our memory, thank you for stirring it up again!

Just thought I’d help you guys out ;) I’m a die hard Yuvraj Singh fan, so I think this comes as a part of my duty... This happened on 19 September 2007 in Durban during a league match of the first 20 over (T20) World Cup, which India ended up winning. Yuvraj singh is the first and only player to hit 6 sixes in an over in 20 over international level cricket. This feat was first achieved in international cricket by South Africa’s Harshelle Gibbs in 50 over cricket, just some time before this happened (but he did it against a much weaker team, Holland, as compared to England, and also against a spin bowler who bowls much slower[about 85 to 90kph] than the bowler you guys just watched, Stuart Broad, who is a fast bowler, who bowls well over 135kph (up to 145kph). Also fun fact, he later went on to become a great bowler for England. He was very young in 2007). So that makes Yuvraj the 2nd player to do this in international level cricket. He also achieved another feat that hasn’t been beaten yet, in this innings. His 12 ball 50 is the fastest half century in international cricket. The closest someone has gotten in international cricket is a 14 ball 50 (by New Zealand’s Colin Munro. West Indies’ Chris Gayle has equalled his 12 ball feat, but in a domestic t20 league in Australia). Yuvraj Singh was also the man of the tournament in the 2011, 50 over World Cup (this is the real cricket World Cup which happens every 4 years, and also is the one happening now in England) which India won. (The last ball of the Final match between India and Sri Lanka was the one in the trailer of the movie MS Dhoni:The untold Story). And the other batsman in this video was MS Dhoni, who had just taken over the captaincy in this tournament. Yuvraj played brilliantly in 2011 wc both with the bat and the ball, scoring 362 runs (which is great for a middle order batsman. [a middle order batsman is someone who comes in to bat after 3 to 5 wickets have fallen.]) and taking 15 wickets throughout the tournament(he is an all rounder, one of the best India has produced). He also became the first and only player in history to take 5 wickets and score 50 runs in the same World Cup match(against Ireland in the group stage). He later was diagnosed with a rare 14 cm germ cell tumour (in his lung) in 2012, which was giving him symptoms since 2010 which he didn’t get tested because he didn’t want to miss the World Cup. He fought his Cancer (got treatment in Indianapolis) and ended up playing for his country for 4 more years, which includes a career best 150 against England in a 50 over game in 2017, and a career best 35 ball 77 runs in a 20 over game vs Australia in 2013, and retired from international cricket just 2 weeks back on 10 June. He truly is an inspiration.

7:26 He has to be taken out because in cricket a bowler can only bowl 6 legal deliveries (no wides, no no-balls) at one go. One exception is if a bowler gets injured in the middle of an over, another bowler who is part of the playing 11 can finish the over. Also a bowler has a maximum number of overs he can bowl in 1 innings. In 50 over cricket (called ODIs or One Day Internationals) a bowler can bowl a maximum of 10 overs. In T20 cricket, the limit is 4 overs. In Test cricket (which is the more traditional version of the game which has a total of 4 innings, i.e 2 turns to bat per team [unlike in ODIs or T20s which is only 1 per team] there is no limit to how many overs a bowler can bowl. But in any format a bowler can bowl only 6 legal balls at one go.

Just one more thing, the first 6 was a 103 metres long. But he beat that distance in the very next match, vs Australia (semifinal) when he hit the then World no. 1 bowler Brett Lee for a humongous 119 metre six.
