Kudos to Stuart Broad, he didn't let this take a toll on him, with 500+ test wickets he's a legend of cricket today.

He doesn’t get the credit he deserves. Saved England may a time and without him in those teams, they wouldn’t have always been bailed out. Gritty player, excellent swing bowling and a never say die attitude. I rate him. Maybe not in a world 11, but I still rate him

Yuvraj Singh was the on the way to be the greatest of all time but sadly cancer ruined his career at his very peak. Still a legend because we know the potential he had. Although his career got shortened he is still a legend for India. And you were so spot on about his flair. He has a natural flair, when he is in red hot form no one looked as good as he did.

Cancer didn'tdestroy his career. tendulkar, sehwag, ganguly and dravid occupying the top 4 spots did. His ability to play spin also played a part. He was my favourite player in middle overs, inthe age of symonds, fflintoff etc.

@@sanketpatil279 bro you are taking it from wrong angle. He achieved a lot in his career but you see him you also understand that cancer hit him when he had just peaked in his career. He would have gone on to achieve much more in his personal achivements. What i am tying to say is he would have outdone the things he did in 2007 and 2011 wc.

@@bhootbhagao5716 no it’s about 2011 where his no.5 or no.4 spot was fix in the team untill he got cancer. Afterwards it was a real dip in his form. And being his biggest fan it wasn’t easy for me to watch him play like that. He did gave some glimpses of his old form but that yuvraj never returned what he was jn 2006-2011

This is by far still the best 6 in 6. For a few reasons. Broad is /was a good fast bowler when this happened. The other ones that came after were from spinners ( and not necessarily the best or well respected) or from club/ first class level. To have 0.3 sec reaction time and do what he did…. Well you have to face the bowling to understand how impressive it is

You obviously have learnt a lot since this was first posted but here's a stat which will answer one of your questions. A "perfect game" where no runs are conceded by a bowler is impossible- in short form as the batters are too attacking to never score and in longer form as there are too many deliveries for nothing to happen. Anyway, current West Indies coach Phil Simmons got the closest in an ODI match in Sydney vs Pakistan. From 10 complete overs, he took 4 wickets for only 3 runs with 8 of those overs being maidens. So from his allotted 60 balls, not only did he dismiss nearly half the side, he also only gave up a single and a two or three singles and 57 or 58 dots. 24 dots has been done in T20's but not at any high-level.

One of the Quintessential rare thing that happened in cricket was in 1983 when in world Cup semifinals of cricket BBC went on strike for some issue and they had only one crew working and that crew was asked to cover Aus vs West Indies semifinals, where as second semifinal of India vs New Zealand there was no TV crew. Kapil DEV Indian captain single handedly smashed 175 runs (the then world record) when India was at a ridiculous Situation of losing 5 wickets for 17 runs. India won semi final and later lifted the cup by beating west indies in finals. Sadly there is no TV footage of that innings.

The funny part is, he mentioned in an interview, let me quote his actual words " I haven't hit six sixes even in practice match." So, he was quite angry as some slur was thrown at him by Flintoff. He wanted to hit every ball out of the park. Fortunately, he was successful to some extent.

That's not the coach who talked to bowler aftter 4th 6. It was the skipper of the English team. And the guy who exchanged the words with yuvraj earlier to this OVER was Andrew Flintoff one of the ACE cricketer of the time. That madebthis innings so special. If u can also notice here Yuvraj gathered 50 runs by facing just 12 deliveries.

His career was not over after this. Believe it or not, this bowler played 15 more years because he had parents with royal connections in a monarch country. Only to get hit by world record 37 runs in 1 over in test by another 10th position Indian batsman. Those were the only 2 highlights of his career.

If somebody would have a maiden bowling inning in a whole match, then that would go down in the history of cricket as the most valuable "peak achieved" for sure. That's just most difficult thing to do in a match if not impossible.

Just a comment on why didn't he save the wicket- it was the 19th over in a match of 20 overs with some wickets. I am not saying that six sixes would not have been on his mind. But there were just eight balls remaining in the match after his four sixes. That's the time when batsmen should think about eight sixes. I am not saying that they will, but atleast that should be the goal. Unless they are night and tenth wicket batting.. Also one bowler can bowl only 4 overs in a 20 over match. So generally a team has 5 batsman, 1 wicket keeper and 5 bowlers. So if it's 20 over match and for five bowlers-each one will get 4 overs. For 50 overs each bowler gets 10 overs. Ofcourse it's not that simple, a team might have all rounders like yuvraj. Pre dominantly a bater who bowls as well. Similarly there can be a bowler who can bat well. So a captain can use more than 5 bowlers, with the help of all rounders. But one bowler can at the max bowl 4 overs in a 20 over game . No more..
