The main rotors have a nice sound. Wish it didn't have a whiney tail rotor.

i wonder if by putting more blades on that tail rotor. if you can get it quieter.

Hello !! I take out my F09S after several months of interruption and there at the surprise start, the >LED flashes yellow slowly all the time.. I put GPS, auto, manual, done the gyroscope, the compass calibration, in short everything, the LED does not turn green.. Hence my question, have I forgotten a detail even an ignition button because I no longer remember, I specify that the few flights I have made have been great none shock no crash, in short nickel what... I must have a memory lapse, I turn on the radio, then the battery and nothing else.. If I have forgotten something... because nothing in the instructions

no doesn't depends on how many satalites you have at all. when you are that close to the radio. it will just auto land wherever it is. you need to be standing much further away for return to home to kick in.
@LoveRC Жыл бұрын
Usually I can steer it down but when landing on the roof you don’t have enough altitude to correct the landing.
@darkracer1252 Жыл бұрын
@@LoveRC what are you talking about? at the end it auto lands because the battery's are empty. and you said "it landed 3 feet away from where it took off" and i am telling you that that's a complete coincidence. that because of it's distance to you. it just landed at whatever location it was at when the battery got low enoegh. and it doesn't activate return to home at all. just auto land.
@darkracer1252 Жыл бұрын
@@LoveRC so from 12:00 on. it auto lands. and you comment on how close it is to the take off point. when that's just pure coincidence
@LoveRC Жыл бұрын
@@darkracer1252 yes it auto lands but usually you can steer it to correct where it lands. What I was saying is if you take off by your house, it can auto land on your roof and you don’t have enough altitude and time to steer it to the ground.

is it possible to maneuver a 60 degree bank?

At speed, did lost altitude at any point?

No it did not loose altitude. The GPS or 6G keeps it very stable.

Hi, I see you own the FW200 as well, which heli do you think is better? The built-in 3d functionality is really attractive to me as I've been a beginner heli pilot for well over 15yrs :(
@LoveRC Жыл бұрын
The F09-S is better. I sometimes loose the GPS lock on the FW200. When that happens you are flying it manually. I have never had that happen on the F09-S. The 6g gyro on the F09-S is very well done. It’s very stable on manual mode. I crashed the FW200 twice loosing GPS lock. The FW200 is a tough helicopter though. Minor damage crashing it. Manual mode has no gyro assistance.

There are now lots of videos of this heli on KZbin. Why does everyone fly so far away? They all bounce up and down in the hover. My qustion is, "will it autorotate?" Does anyone want to try?
@LoveRC Жыл бұрын
Helis that have a tail motor instead of belt driven, do not auto rotate. This heli auto lands though when the battery gets low.
@daveday5507 Жыл бұрын
@@LoveRC I don't think you understand. The first successful electric heli was the Kalt Whisper which autorotated beautifully. Normally, an autorotation clutch disengages the tail and the tailrotor stops during autorotation, so why should a tail motor be any different? the real question is whether there is enough inertia in the blades? I doubt it since nobody uses weighted blades anymore.
@LoveRC Жыл бұрын
@@daveday5507 I had the tail rotor motor completely fail on the Green Blackhawk and she spiraled into the ground.
@daveday5507 Жыл бұрын
@@LoveRC That will happen if you keep the power on. You should close the throttle. If you have some negative pitch it should 'glide', but the amount of negative is critical. You have to set the heli up to autorotate amd few people do this.

@@daveday5507 yeah I'm not doing that on this one.
