Thank you for the compilation! If anyone is curious about what Shoma says re: Yuzu's performance from 0:35, then what he basically says is: He wasn't in the position to say for sure, but he felt as though Yuzu's FS was only a standard performance and not a truly "good" one in Yuzu's eyes (indicating admiration that Yuzu's "standard" is already leagues above other people). He went on to say it didn't feel like that performance wasn't something occurring by chance, but that it was completely natural/obvious for Yuzu to deliver a performance like that (again, the idea that Yuzu's "normal" is already that amazing, and that this programme has the potential to become even better if Yuzu feels particularly inspired). Finally, he ended by saying that that's what he had in mind after witnessing Yuzu's performance, and that he only wanted to improve on his skating from now on. EDIT: and from 6:40, Shoma was basically gushing about how Yuzu is his ultimate goal. For a long time he didn't know if there was any meaning to his skating/he didn't know what he was skating for, but now that he saw Yuzu perform, he realised Yuzu is and always has been his ultimate goal, no matter which competition they will participate in. He talked a bit about how far behind he was in terms of skills, and Yuzu quietly shook his head at this, showing just how much mutual respect these two have for each other. Can't wait to see these lovely Japanese men at Worlds! (if the championships go on as scheduled, that is)

I think it's wonderful how Yuma watches Yuzu whenever they are in an interview or on a podium together. He could not have a better person to emulate as far as how to handle the press and the humble respect that Yuzu shows to everyone. I think Yuma likes Yuzu's quiet confidence and the way he handles the insane scrutiny surrounding him. I think Yuzu's approval and respect for Yuma gives him a boost of confidence. I predict Yuma is going to be the skater from Japan to carry the torch and inspire the next generation of fans after Yuzu moves on to his next adventure. (Of course we Fanyus will follow Yuzu wherever he goes) Yuma is already gaining maturity and the respect of the people. I think he will be excellent.

I don't know if it's just me but I didn't particularly like the costume for Yuzu's short program even though I loved the program. The top was good but I didn't like the shiny pants that were kind of baggy. I love the skin tight pants that look like velvet. And so I loved his look doing the gala encore. That was awesome.
