Yve is known for her ult. When they nerf her ult, that is where her popularity and viability significantly decreased. Now, devs are trying to bring her back from the grave, but they are buffing her wrongly. They focus on her clearing capacity wherein it's not even a major issue before her nerf. For this, devs should really focus on her ult because that is her kit. They should try considering this suggestion like, increasing her ult size and number of taps/stacks everytime her ult is upgraded, Lvl. 1 - 5x5, 15 taps Lvl. 2 - 6x6, 20 taps Lvl. 3 - 7x7, 25 taps To balance this out, it's either they will remove or decrease the slow on her ult.

6x6 would be awkward cuz she has to be in between the lines of the 3rd and 4th row in that situation. Lv. 8 should be an increase on slow or increase on ult duration but still 5x5, then at Lv. 12, she can have the 7x7. She must also be able to cast her 2 other skills while Ultimate is active. Her first skill during ult state should get a buff and could stun the enemies inside her ult and the enemies can only be stunned once every 4 seconds. To balance, they should remove the stun at the edge of her ult and lower slow on swipe

Former Yve main here, I tried her once recently since I kinda missed using her; I wouldn't recommend her in today's meta. What made her annoying was she can slow you down without reaching her during her prime. That's why they nerfed the ult range, so she can be reached. However, they also nerfed her slow and Ice Queen Wand which completely removed her pros. Take her range or take her slow, not both, unfortunately it was both. I never got most damage with Yve even at her prime because for me, she was more of zoning and CCing which they both removed through the nerfs. It's crazy how far and fast Ixia can kill than Yve but they haven't touched her yet. Ixia is my main MM currently cause she just gave me what I missed from Yve.

It's been known that the developers SUCK at adjustments. They don't know how to make adjustments for Masha, Wanwan,etc they always make them either useless or broken. The Yve before was already not great in general...They could've just increased her damage on minions and leave the other stats or things as it is. She would be viable as a pick but not ban worthy nor broken. Kinda like Claude (though Claude is always good).

For me it was the day where ice queen wand got nerf and her slow skill nerf. For me i always play her as support midlaner due to her AoE and her slow CC. But they nerfed her CC a lot... I think it’ll be fun to make the ult playstyle like actual fruit ninja.. The swipe attack becomes permanent= activates by ult and affects all tiles till ult ends, but lower dmg and slow The tap becomes swipe, but channeling like kimmy 1st skill / zhuxin 2nd (you just swipe back and forth and it’ll continuously damage enemies caught in the AoE), significantly less dmg, but much more hit counter (up to 100 tile hits) / turn the count to a gauge / uses mana up to certain percentage of max mana

My idea for Yve Buff/Revamp: Passive: Star power (Buff) (Damage) Every time Yve deals damage with skill to an enemy Yve will get 1 stack of “star power” each stack increase magic power by 2 up to 10 stacks, after 10 stacks the next skill that hit the enemy will consume all the stack and deal an extra 100-200 magic damage (+60% of total magic power) and speed up Yve by 15% for 0.7 second. and slow enemy by 10% for 0.7 second Skill 1: Manipulation (AOE) (Debuff) Yve cast her power and manipulate the choosen area dealing 120-270 (+65% magic power) at first hit and deal 20-50 (35% total magic power) continues damage every 0.2 second for 2 second And remove 1 Buff from the enemy (Sheild, CC immunity, Speed up, Atk boost, and any other buff) and the enemy will unable to receive the buff that is removed for 5 second (like speed up, CC immunity, sheild and atk boost) and slowing the enemy for 1 second by 10% CD: 7.8 second - 4.2 second Skill 2: Star Core (Burst) (Slow) Yve charge a extremely powerful Star core and will throw it to targeted area, Dealing 350-750 (+75 Magic power) if there any creeps in it’s path, it will deal 175-300 (+40 magic power) and slowing the enemy hitted by 70% for 1.2 second CD: 13.4 second - 8.6 second Ultimate: Balancer of the Universe (AOE) (CC) Yve unleash All of her power in a selected area (Area shape and size still the same but with no grid) After 0.3 second of delay, the area selected will explode and airboning everyone there for 1.2 second and dealing 600-1100 (+75% magic power) 0.3 after the explode, Yve Spawn a Small core of star in the area and will keep damaging the enemy dealing 20-65 (+115% magic power) every 0.2 second for 2 second and slowing them by 40% for 4 second CD: 72.5 second - 52.8 second This is My idea only! SUGGESTION: Make the ult slows the enemy inside for 30% and has no damage, but while using the ult it enhances the other skills and its range.. its like you can use the skill 1 and 2 inside the range of her ult. Add the knock up and pull effect on her 1st skill. Like gatots ultimate, while her ults lasts, her 2nd skill has 3 phase,.. phase 1 slows the enemy and has continuous damage in a circular area, phase 2 pull effect like terizlas ultimate phase 3 explosion and knock up effect.. the cc effects on other skills will only be activate when shes using her ult. Decrease the cooldown of her 2nd and 1st skill. While using ult So the combo will be like. (Use ultimate) 2nd skill. I'd say, faster cast on the tap mode and a mini stun (0.5s/0.7s/1s scale with level) or just the same root/immobilize but let whoever reach/touch the edge recieve additional dmg just to make it lore accurate. They could optimise the tap tap speed. The speed is so painfully slow enemies would be long gone before you could use even half of your taps. Or at least, reduce the number of taps and increase the damage. The excess taps are useless anyway. Another idea is to remove the grid and let her draw on the field. This way you can just hold instead of tap and it'd be like gord's ult but shooting from above.

I've seen lots of similar comments before saying that they should make the ult of Yve scale with the ult level. 5x5 for level 1, 6x6 for level 2, and 7x7 for level 3. that way, she can keep up with the range as the game goes on. oh, and ice queen wand's slow was nerfed long ago and rapid boots, rafaela's 2nd skill, the purify spell, and heroes with skills that can purify can manage the slow effects of her ult and 2nd skill. it's not like there's no counterplay to her. the devs are stupid for making yve suffer like this. she's like a bit of odette's aoe ult and a bit of pharsa's burst, but failing to excel at either roles.

Well, Yve is a Sustain Mage like Valir, she's not the kind of hero who kills people instantly after using three skills. But it is true that her Ultimate is difficult to use, which is why I choose to ignore this hero even though I like maining some low popularity heroes. As for whether she is Support? I don't think so. Even if her Slow is strong, it doesn't mean she is Support. "Support" refers to heroes who can heal or shield allies, and it can also refer to skills that can help teammates, such as Johnson's Ultimate. If Slow counts, then do we need to change the previous Tanks back to Tank/Support?

Im a new player, I tried Yve in practice mode because i thought her design is cool and i genuinely like her playstyle - but i really hate the delay with tap tap and swipe swipe eats too many attacks without giving good damage At level 15 you can basically spam her first skill so thats kinda fun but her ultimate's range really lacks. I sometimes only get a chance to kill the enemy bot when theyre immobilized while trying to leave which is kinda sad

A rework were she vanishes temporarily from the map (like yin) and has a full view of the map and can see the enemies positioning (like aldous) by tapping she can send stars towards the enemy that deal aoe damage. Thus, it keeps the purpose of the ultimate, but actually makes it useful

An immediate difference between Yve, Pharsa and Ixia is the value of each cast of their ults. One tap for Pharsa is a chunk of damage, Ixia need only spam attack to get the value, but Yve needs to first slow the enemy and then try to tap them down. Why couldn't the actual Field itself have a slow effect? Like Estes. Or why can't the taps both damage and slow? Why are we doing so much work for so little rewards?

If that is the case then may I suggest this? Give her Valir's old ult but the cc and burst are the same and remove the manual tap and swipe. Also allow her to leave the ult while it is active.

thank you hororo not just her range and damage and cooldown but her slow kinda sucks now sp the nerf on ice queen wand and her 2nd skill slow effect immediately removes once the enemy is no longer in the area they will regain 100 percent move speed thats why she sucks its soo hard to play her specially if your team is not good with team work shes like old faramis too much relying on teammates

Yve is known for her 2 second 1st skill which was promised in her early which was Nerfed within a flash. She was promised for a supportive 2nd skill with a slow effect to hinder enemies From chasing or escaping her which was instantly nerfed too along with the Ice Queen wand. And now her ultimate promised with a big range and many tiles to enjoy attacking enemies from behind and hard to escape which was Nerfed in a flash due to big tiles and slow effects which is not a good valid reason.. Yet the developers still thought she was too OP in today's patch. Then there's the other heroes where you can get killed in a mere 1.5 seconds like Fanny , Karina, Kagura, Eudora, etc. yet they are considered Balanced and still needs buff to enhance their performance 🙂 Like what are the devs thinking? I guess they're only buffing the heroes that are Worth marketable like Fanny, Lancelot, Granger, etc. and mostly assassin heroes since they have indirect buff due to assassin emblem buffs and item buffs... I missed the old method and mindset of the developers where they focus on ALL the heroes rather than ONLY THE MARKETABLE ONES to adjust.. It's really obvious since When there's a new skin upcoming just like Hayabusa's Exorcist, they buffed him saying he needs to be strong to perform in the game which is fake.. the real reason is he has an upcoming skin so they buffed him... What a trash..

Yve new Ult will be: Real World Manipulation: *Removed shield, immunity to control. *No more grid. It will be a free space. Yve levitates and create a huge space that will contain both enemy and ally heroes. Yve is independent of the space. The floor forms first slowing enemy heroes for 40% for the first 5 sec(decays over time). Next phase, an energy wall will form around the perimeter of the ult and gradually meeting both ends sealing all heroes inside the ult for 3 sec once the floor complete forming. All heroes can escape the ult before it is fully formed(all movement skills are allowed). Once the ult is fully formed, all enemies in the space are trapped for 3 sec. After Real World Manipulation is fully formed, all enemies inside the ult are hit automatically by falling energy blast once. After each hit, there will be an area burst damaging the surrounding. During the ult, yve can use her first and second skill to deal damage to enemies. If Yve flickers or the ult is disrupted, Real World Manipulation will self destruct dealing damage and slow all enemies for 40% for 2 sec inside the ult. CD: 90 sec Void Blast Skill 1: added 0.8 sec stun and 40% slowed per hit. Enemy heroes can only be stunned once every 5 sec. CD:8 sec Void Crystal Skill 2: removed directional target. Summon a crystal at a spot. Instant burst upon hit and CIRCULAR energy wave spreads outwards and returns. When spreading outwards, it will deal damage to all enemies in the area. Upon return, it will slow all enemy heroes within the area for 40% for 2 sec. Hitting enemy with void blast reduce the CD this skill by 0.5 sec. @@arinrayscumdump maybe the other way is better. In ult no stun. The first skill is to finish off the enemy in the ult if the team or ult damage cannot do the job. Since first skill has stun, speed boost is removed. Added effect of skill 1, along with 0.8 sec stun every 5 sec, is slow enemies in first skill area by 40 % for 1.5 sec Skill 2: slow is removed, damage over time is increased. Gain stacks 5 stacks max. Cannot be used during ult. Added effect of ULT, ally heroes in the ult space gain damage reduction of 30 % and speed boost of 25 % for the first 2 second. Yve gain a shield(150% magic power) and damaged reduction of 30%(increased by 5% per stack) for the first 2 sec. Remove immunity to control skills in ult. Ult cast time is faster and if Yve moves. The ult is cancelled. Added one row behind Yve.

@@flohoshino4974 I think so too. The current Yve is playable. Yve must position herself and keep an eye on assassins. She can use skill one to poke enemy hero health. Skill 2 to annoy backline and clear wave. And ult to defend, support team fights or complete the kill. But not as feared as aurora or vexana.

Just like Odette, which can move during her Ultimate. Why not put Yve, some new effects in order to make her viable even with the lack of Range. Perhaps CC can help.

Honestly the moment they nerfed her Dmg, Passive and especially the Range of the Ult that's when it went all down hill. Like I get why they nerfed the Ult range but dang if they're gonna do that why not buff something else instead of Nerfing all of it, it's just so bizarre if you think about it to compromise everything on her kit yet most just get a slap on the wrist. Like ngl I hate her first release cause she was annoying af but I found ways to deal with that and this isn't what she deserved. Honestly the only way to get her back is either give back her old ult range or the slow cause we literally have rapid boots to counter the slow so might as well make give it back it's former glory just something like that will be enough at least to make her good something other than being a Niche pick... And even if she's being a Niche pick not really much is done other than a odd team comp persay.
