Thanks for the amazing walkthrough of Kuala Lipis. This has brought back much memories of my childhood! The road you walked down @20:41 was the very same area my mother was born, and she brought me there at a very young age. My grandmother used to tell me about the seeds that she planted along the Sungai Lipis when she was doing her laundry on the rivers, and those are the very trees that you pointed out in the video! In the past, there used to be fishing huts and a hotel along that river path but times have changed...

Thank you for the video about Kuala Lipis! Used to live along the Main Street, at the unit next to Hotel London. You have to try the toasts and coffee from the coffee shop two units next to Hotel London. They are GOOD!!! Miss the old good days when it was still lively and kids ran around visiting different shops like their own. It really changes so much in just a couple of decades.

Surrounded by a jungle river, the small town of Kuala Lipis is full of amazing, modern and old colonial architectural history. Go back to ancient history from modern life, realize how precious and nostalgic they are. The neat and beautiful wooden small mosque built in 1888 is no exception. The thrilling feel of a forest by the river reminds me that your next videos are going to be interesting.

Amazing to walk around and showing us Kuala Lipis town. It's beneficial to those who haven't visited this small town of Pahang. Ahaha....roti canai and thosai again for breakfast. Well, as long as the family loves them, it's alright. That's not a Buddhist temple, it's a Sikh/Punjabi temple. Don't ever try to swim in river, there might be crocodiles around and the water doesn't look inviting....teh tarik water 😂😀 Nice ending of the vlog by showing the whole family standing at the entrance of the Chinese temple...nice pose. Thanks for sharing this video, always fun to tag along with you guys.

@Mustafa-Kamal-Satar2 жыл бұрын
Not really Arabic, but Malay language written in Arabic script, called Jawi writing. Like Persian and Urdu languages, also using Arabic script. Before Europeans came to colonize, Muslims in Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, southern Thailand, southern Philippines and Indonesia wrote using Arabic script, including treaties signed between Islamic sultanates in the region. The British and the Dutch immediately changed to Romanized writing in their respective colonies of Malaysia-Singapore-Brunei (British) and Indonesia (Dutch) which becomes the only official form of writing in Malay/Indonesian language today. But the Arabic/Jawi script remains as something offered to people who want to learn it
