I made this riff rundown of the “solo-ey” bit in Nero for Premier Guitar so people could have something fun to pass the time 🥰🥰🥰
Divided it up into little sections and slowed it down so you can see all the detail. Hope it helps!
Nero is the newest single from my band Covet. It's available on all streaming platforms if you want to listen to the riff in context!
Full album "technicolor" out June 5!

This is one of the most insulting things as a composer. "Hey can you play Wonderwall, I know you've got your own songs but play something I recognize" ....lol I get it though you wanna see her improv someone elses song..
@SlimeyGuitarStrings
@SlimeyGuitarStrings 4 жыл бұрын
@@ginsuma1402 You know, a cover does not have to be as simple as playing a famous song the same way it's been done a million times. It can be you interpreting the song differently. All Along The Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix, Shout by Disturbed, One by Three Dog Night, Hurt by Johnny Cash, Respect by Aretha Franklin, Hound Dog by Elvis, Twist and Shout by The Beatles, Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley, You Really Got Me by Van Halen, Black Magic Woman by Santana, Soul Man by the Blues Brothers, Barbara-Ann by the Beach Boys, I heard it Through the Grape Vine by CCR and Marvin Gaye previously, Higher Ground by The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Running up that Hill by Placebo, and so many more are all wonderful covers. Just because a song is a cover doesn't mean it has to be done the same way and that it can't be interpreted differently. I guess Yvette agrees with you as your comment was highlighted, but I sincerely feel creating an interpretation of a song you love can be great. With Yvette specifically, her entire style is so different that I would love to see what she does with a song she loves but I guess that won't happen.

@@RetroPlus It doesn't take scales as a beginner. Technically, you don't need to know scales at all, unless you're making the stuff. Some of her stuff can be learned with relative ease, but not all of it. She's still one of the top guitarists in the world right now, let's not forget that.

Hi ! Playing guitar is fabulous, it really is, and it's great to see your enthusiasm. But trying to learn this song to start guitar is like trying to learn the backflip before even knowing how to walk or stand on your feet. Ofc nothing is impossible with patience and dedication , and I wish you good luck on this. But my point is : don't feel discouraged about the instrument if you don't succeed as fast as you would ! Have fun
