Jungkook is from the 7 member pop phenomenon group BTS. He is the youngest amongst the 7. Since BTS is on hiatus due to their mandatory military service they have all expanded as solo artists until 2025. Jungkook has expanded so much as a solo artist doing such big things. His debut song during mid summer was titled “seven” feat the rapper Latto, then he went on to collab on another single titled “3D” feat Jack Harlow, later then was brought on The Kid Laroi’s song titled “Too Much” feat Central Cee & Jungkook. The song you just reacted to is the title track to his first album “Golden”. Jungkook has done solo work before officially debuting as a soloist. Charlie Puth asked him to be on his song title “Left and Right”, for the FIFA World-Cup official song in 2022 jungkook was selected as the main singer for the official song titled “Dreamers”. Jungkook released remixes of his past songs with other artists such as Justin Timberlake on “3D” and Usher on “Standing Next To You”. Jungkook performed at New York Times Square at TSX stage, it was a surpise performance so armys didn’t find out ab it til 30 mins before the show. Armys still pulled up before hand because something in their gut told them he was going to be there. The performance was sponsored by Calvin Klein, XBOX, and Hilton. Really nice comment! But bts is not a pop group. They originally started as a HipHop group but do now almost every genre. They themselves said that they don't want to be known as a group that does only one genre, which at that time would've been HipHop. They said that they want to be a group that can pull every genre of music. Which now they are. They do pop, HipHop, r&b, edm, Latin pop, ballad, and much more. Check out the group. Great reaction. This song is super catchy! Jungkook tried really hard for this album to make sure his english pronunciations were on point. Thats not easy to do when english is not your first language. And in fact doing an entire album in english props to him

He said on a live that this song was the most difficult/exhausting to record on the album, yet he still recorded it in around four hours and didn’t have to do a second take. That is seriously impressive for a song not on your primary language.

Agreed! His diction and articulation is commendable. It shows that he's worked extremely hard. Especially in songs like "Too sad to dance" and "Yes or no", which have some parts that require quick speaking, it wouldn't have been easy for him to get the precise pronunciation, considering the fact that the korean language does not have many sounds the english language does.

There's are complete live versions he bascially shut down Time Square New York some people worked out he was up to something and went down there hours before it was even announced. It was only annouced 30 minutes before he did a live mini concert performance of 5 of his Songs from his Solo Album Golden. Our kookie is now doing his military service with the rest of BTS and won't be back until June 2025. oh and he did do a remix with Usher.

The inspo for this MV is actually Baz Luhrmann’s 1995 movie Romeo + Juliet. The director actually said this was a very cool tribute. The fight scene is so cool because it’s actually running backwards. I definitely recommend checking out his live performance of this song on Jimmy Fallon.

Latto, which was released before the album was released is the fastest single to be streamed 1BILLION times on Spotify. Jung Kook is the real deal. His 2nd song, “3D” feat. Jack Harlow also was remixed with Justin Timberlake. JK rapped in the earlier days of BTS. Ida S has a lot of good videos about him including so compilation videos, if you are interested. There are some really nice live performances. IHeart live (and in VR) is the best vocals. It has a live band. Other live performances are Audacy live (sang 4 songs off if album), a surprise performance at Times Square (performed 5 songs off of his album), M Countdown, and his gift to Army was a free “Golden Live” concert which he did the day before the last four BTS members announce they were starting the enrollment for mandatory military service. JK worked so hard on learning his English. I am sure RM is proud. He used to coach the boys for interviews so they could participate. It took them a long time to get accepted in the USA. The Grammys have been so unkind to them. They didn't want them to participate and be in competition with musicians from USA because they were so much better than our singers and groups. BTS has gotten the last laugh! I don't even listen to American music any more. The haters said they couldn't understand what they were saying. Well music is a universal language. When they sing their music you can feel it in your soul and understand the the message enough.I can't get anything out of American music but screaming and foul language trying to spread hate and promote racism. BTS music is to promote 💜 healing and understanding for everyone everywhere.,,that we all make mistakes. Just don't give up cause we are all in this together.

Yes it’s got the retro funk vibe. Even the mv and choreography clearly nod to MJ. You should check out the official performance video straight homage to MJ down to the outfit. And then he has another performance video for the remix featuring Usher. MJ and Usher are noted idols of theirs BTS has done MJ tributes multiple times. “Dynamite” has referenced for MJ and “Butter” reference to Usher, “don’t need no Usher, to remind me you got it bad” Definitely made more fans for US market having full English tracks. But even without they already had a huuuuge mega fan base. This just another milestone hit. Sadly, they’re all in military now 😢 He gave so much with his Golden release only to leave at the peak with this epic release. Love this song.

Jungkook's group BTS is responsible for the kpop explosion we're seeing here in the west. They kicked open the doors for the industry in 2017 after their first BBMA win. BUT it should be understood that they are an anomaly leading the trends that are coming through on social media.
