Yours is the best dragon wing tutorial that I've seen! Your voice-over is really great and your instructions are super clear. Nice tips on the picture frame plastic support and the alcohol ink tinting for the thermoplastic! I'll have to try the tinting for sure :D I'm hoping to make a pair of wings for a cosplay soon.

Talk about convenient. I just made a winged lava demon dog prop and my daughter loved the wings and asked me to make a bigger set of dragon wings for her. This is perfect.

What a helpful tutorial! I have a question about the project I am hoping to do... I want to make Blue Eyes White Dragon wings. The back on the wings on most models are just one piece if that makes sense? Would you suggest using cellophane for it and can I use two sheets of foam between the wire? Would cellophane take spray paint? I would like to get as close tho that metallic look as much as I can. What would you suggest?

Great job! I’ve use 9 gauge utility and brace wire from Tractor supply ,it’s under $20 for 150 feet .used it for framing costumes and making a Merry Christmas sign.

I have a random question. I recently bought a dress form in a closing down sale, but it is only the front have of the "torso". I am wondering if I can still use it to shape armour and breast forms if I manage to find warbler in the UK

So soldering. The trick is you use your iron to heat the wire on the opposite side to what you apply the solder wire. You want the wires to be what melts the solder, not the iron. It will let the solder flow through the wires better that way.
