I've made my own wings in the past and I love seeing what techniques others use to help me in the future. For instance why did I never think if packing tape? When I've burnt my edges they have a tendency to break apart after wearing a couple times. I'm hoping a little tape can save my favorite pair that became a decoration when I started seeing the little holes and didn't want them to fall apart anymore than they already were. Love your videos hun. Keep em coming. XD

When other ppl say “easy tutorial” but the tutorials are actually hard.. yea THIS is not clickbait so thank you🥺🥺

Maybe for your next set, try florist cellophane? It tends to be thicker, which means you would only need a layer each side of the framework, and it comes in a large of colours and designs.

I think copper or bronze would be perfect for them.....thank you so much for the video I've searching for a wing video to in the future make a dream catcher with them so this will help immensely. Keep up the good/beautiful work.

Awesome wings. For the future you should try to find a fabric called "tissue lamé" . It would be ideal. Also if you have discount stores like Christmas Tree Stores, look for inexpensive floor to ceiling curtain sheers. I use them in my bathroom to hang in front if my tub and to give the room color. I have a lovely pair of green/gold that just shimmer and are see through such a thin fabric, but its synthetic, like polyester, and its strong. They would be stunning wings on a green or brown beastie. But if you can find tissue lamé you should be able to find gold. And hopefully many more colors too.

These are so awesome, and I can't wait to show my girls this video. Halloween is a big deal for my family and new costumes are usually always a topic when we get together so knowing how to make these wings is great. Only problem is that I usually end up being the creator of them all, LOL!

Thanks! Been stressing about making dragon wings for my 4yo's Halloween costume and found your video, and they were so easy! Used 10g armature wire and have just finished the boning in about an hour. Watched the video first on mute and again with sound, so I'll just use 2 cellophane layers and a hairdryer! I'll tag you in finished product post!

Awesome. I like the wrinkles they look like little veins and stuff. One day I'd love to make full body size angel/bird wings. Only ever used wire and liquid latex to make bat/dragon/demon wings though. This looks maybe quicker and less fragile.
