See it’s easy ! I think sometimes we over think things ! Putting the papers into a signature bound into a cover is the easy part… the decoration is the time consuming part 😂

Would have never thought of using craft knife for cutting right on score/cutting tool. Genius. And it seems to be more precise where one WANTS the cut vs having to line it up jussssssst right….argh!

This is great for a 'never made a journal' gal. I would love to make one, and you don't even need to have the folded in bits on the first go. It will be fun putting one together, following what you have shown, so thank you for the simplifying of putting a journal together. They would make such lovely gifts for Christmas/birthday. Glad that you popped up into my feeds today, so I'm now a follower.

Thank you for mentioning using a regular craft blade when you can't get a replacement blade! I got a Fiskars trimmer at a thrift store but I can't find a replacement carriage that houses the rotary blade. I really wanted to use it for cutting heavy cardstock as it seems more economical to replace the little circular blades. And !he crafting knives are cheaper yet- problem solved! 😂

Thanks for showing your process, I am sitting with coffee dyed papers and loads of printed pages and just can't get started. I have a sewing maching in the dresser, I need to pull it out too. I am tempted to do it now lol thanks for sharing x

I am so enthralled with all your journals! This tutorial is great for me. I'm also watching your Let's Make series -- I've made albums, but no junk journals. I'm working on a pressed flower journal, and am using lots of your ideas! Thank you so much!

thank for sharing 😊the thing that takes me the longest is getting the papers together and folded and cut or torn properly, I am so slow at that part...!!

Well well that was brilliant. I am right there with you about the measuring thing totally not for me! I can measure 3 times and still get it wrong. It takes all the fun out of it and it becomes work yuck! I just “wing-it” and it will be whatever it turns out to be. Ha ha ha ha. Sewing ❤️❤️ sewing. I see literally everything in my journals tags, pockets, pages, embellishments all of it gets sewn!! Ha ha!
