Honor I can’t read Arabic, therefore I cannot truly read the Quran. It will be translated and it would be wrong for me to base my life around something another man has written. I can certainly appreciate the story’s and concepts to apply them to myself, but unfortunately I refuse to truly say I follow a religion that has been translated to my poor, dumbed down language. I’m sure there are Arabic words that have been translated to a vaguely similar word and that could result in a completely different understanding of what the original was stating. Same thing goes for the Bible and the Tanakh. If you can only read it in English, don’t trust it. If you aren’t reading an exact copy of the original, don’t trust it.

Honor But my main point was, are we the direct descendent of god, or did he create us? This always baffled me. We are all made in his image, as we are made from the image of our ancestors. So maybe we are all the DIRECT descendant of god. Maybe our ancestors could see god? If they couldn’t, did they speak to him any differently than we do today? Like, did Muhammad, Moses, Jesus, Buddha, and them speak to god directly, or just in the way we do today? We can all passively speak to god and feel his presence, but did they hear his words? (I appreciate all of these religions, *they all worship the same god*. God is very real, I know from personal experience) God is love, there is no devil, evil is just the result of greed, pride, hate, pity, idolization, and control. These things live in all of us and god is the only thing in this life we can follow to achieve true virtue, regardless of which religion we follow. But why I ask, if we are the descendant of god, or if god made us, did he bother with making us with this evil? If we are the descendant of God, where did this evil come from? Why would god allow for there to be people out there who aren’t inherently aware of his presence and power? People die before they are born never to experience anything. Good people are made evil through hardship, I’ve seen it. Why is this? Nobody wants to be evil.. Within us all, however, an evil exists. Why are we made to play this game? What is the point of living just to struggle with our evils for him to judge if we are worthy of Heaven? What is the point of heaven, only to exist for eternity in bliss? What is bliss without corruption and pain? What is good without bad? If I don’t stop now I’ll write a whole novel.

Ah thank you 😊. Sometimes I feel very insecure in Islam. I find that this feeling has increased lately but I’ve come to realise after watching your video, that it’s not because I’m Muslim that I’m feeling this way, lacking satisfaction and peace, it’s because in my head, I think doing below the minimum is okay and that I am a Muslim still. The true reason why I feel not at peace is because I’m not actually doing enough. I’m not ingraining Islam into my daily life enough. Like you said, everything Allah has done, it really is specific to a reason. And that is for absolutely every rule in the Qur’an. I really wish I was knowledgeable enough to state hundreds of rules and tell you why Allah has made it so, and educate others on Islam - it would be my dream- but I must educate myself first and fast! That way, I really do believe I will attain peace because I had tried before and really felt it but I only managed to keep it up for two days at best. I need to implement Islamic rulings a lot more in my life gradually, but Insha Allah, maintaining it solidly, as truly it is for our benefit, for each and every one of us. I loved watching this video of yours, your knowledge is beautiful and your expression of it is very logical and impressive. Hopefully I come back to these every now and again to get refreshed in what my religion actually is, and not what uneducated people around me blindly tell me it is. Falcao Falcao Yeah, a lot of Christians know that the Bible isn’t necessarily correct, though. The bad thing about Islam, is some people are such great followers of it, they might be afraid to admit that some things in it aren’t true or entirely accurate. That’s bad with any religion, say a Christian actually did follow the Bible through and through, it wouldn’t be good. Plus, you definitely *are* saying I’m lost because I’m not Muslim, because I never said I’m Christian. I’m not a Christian. I’m also certainly not lost. I follow god and try to do what god would want me to do. It helps guide me through this dark and miserable chasm we call life. P.S. don’t assume you’re not lost just because you have some answers. Islamic folk can be lost, too. Just look at ISIS... Them boys are as dumb as trees!

Falcao Falcao Im happy we’ve personally come to this understanding. It was unfair to point out Islam as though it is the worst religion, that wasn’t my intention but reading it back through, that’s what it sounded like. I was referring to religion in general whilst using Islam as a reference. Regardless, I don’t personally know enough about it to make those claims in the first place. What I was trying to say was that I just feel as though I make it through life happily without it, so why fix what’s not broken by making a commitment to a religion? You're right, as I've told you before, the word "Muslim" appeared at the dawn of the Prophetic career of Muhammed (PBUH). The action of "Muslim", to do "Islam", which means to "submit to the will of God", has forever existed and is eternal. By that definition, every "thing" is "Muslim". We didn't need the word "atheist" to exist before those who were absent of theistic beliefs to exist.

Evo Again, any religion can say “all creation is Christian, all creation is Hindu”. It is all true for the one who believes it. A Muslim will believe that is true because he is a Muslim. A Christian will believe everything is from the will of their trinity because he believes it to be true. A follower of Krishna will believe all creation belongs to Krishna because he believes it to be true. You think they are delusional but they think the same of you.
