Tip: Apply a thin layer of grease on the sealing surface of the crank case before you put the gasket on. This not only holds the gasket in place while you put the other case half on, it also makes it easier to remove the gasket next time you split the case.

Hello, I have a question on gaskets. I noticed that no sealant was required when you reinstalled. When is a sealant required? I am replacing the cover on my grandson’s 2005 Yamaha PW50. Should I use any type of gasket sealant?
@akmoto_3 жыл бұрын
You only need to use sealant if there isn’t some sort of gasket in place, but pretty much everything uses gaskets on dirtbikes. The only time a sealant is used is between the cases, and even then some bikes use gaskets. Hope this helps 👍🏼

Sir, if I want to take the used engine of yz125 2006 then how much will I get?
@76tigga4 жыл бұрын
I tried installing a 12T front sprocket. The inner diameter groove of the sprocket is smaller on the 12T compared to the 13T OEM sprocket. The 12T doesn't sit on the counter shaft like OEM. Have you ever run into this issue?
@akmoto_4 жыл бұрын
No, I would try maybe a different brand of sprocket.

Where did you get your reed valve gasket?? I can’t find them anywhere, I have vforce 3 reeds and when I recently rebuilt my motor the hot rods bottom end rebuild kit didn’t have one so I had to use gasket maker and I think I developed a air leak so I need to replace it with a gasket but I can’t find one!

Try revzilla

OEM they don't come with gaskets, many aftermarket Reed Cages do though. I found mine on Motosport but you could always directly contact V-force about getting a gasket
