Terrific job. You not only did an outstanding rebuild, you prepped it correctly for the next rebuild, whenever that might be. And I love how you built your own Dremel bits rather than pay a small fortune for the factory ones.

My dad used to have this motorcycle, he made it a street legal motorcycle and fiberglass glue smell in the morning and evening just to make it compliant. He'd take me to school with it and I remember the bike being tall. Awesome video making me unlock childhood memories

Such a pleasure watching someone with skills do a rebuild. So many videos are hard to stomach the lack of knowledge and half ass work. Wish there was a “misinformation” filter on these types of videos. Save me a lot of money on Pepto. Beautiful Job!!!

Absolutely great attention to detail, no music and amazing result….the only thing missing, like many other videos, is the measuring and adjustment for the correct squish clearance and conformation of the combustion chamber volume. It’s a massive part of building a 2 stroke for performance and reliability. I would have loved to have seen that in this video.

One of the best, of not the best, resto video I've ever had the pleasure to watch! For some reason I've never had much luck assembling a new clutch pack dry, then putting oil over it. They *always* slip on me, and I inevitably have to take the discs back out, and put them in oil before assembling again. I always wonder at these dry packs then oil installs, if they ever have issues after the video, and never get reported after completion.
@madmarc11 ай бұрын
Thanks buddy! You're right pouring oil over it won't do anything, but letting it sit in that oil bath and rotating the clutch with the kick starter a few times to saturate every spot should do the trick.

I just built a home cerakote oven that I can also use for powder coating motorcycle and car parts (for myself and the fam). My Son is also going to cerakote his pew pew machine! But having a vapor blaster will be awesome and make jobs like this even more satisfying and easy! Great video!!!
