One big note when you using citrus base products is ventilation!!! Got this info from our chemical seller, the reason why you have to have good ventilation when using citrus based products is that the citrus substance is such small particles that you can breathe them in & they literally dissolve your brain over time if you frequently use that type of product with substandard ventilation, may be worth thinking about as the brain is made up largely of fat molecules & citrus-based products dissolve fat really well.

I have an Odyssey I've recently completed. Im contemplating either an electric bike motor for a reverse or I have a mower with a starter and a flywheel I may be able to mount on the axle and use push button to engage the solenoid and reverse the kart.

I have to say, Blaster makes a great product (products), a day doesn’t go by that I don’t use one of them. Their lithium grease is irreplaceable here on the ocean. Stops the salt from seizing everything. Great channel, thanks for the content. Be well, and God bless.

My knees are pretty bad too and yesterday I had my second full hip replacement. Hopefully in a few days I can get back to working on some projects but what I really want to mention is those foam interlocking panels for gyms as they are knee friendly and my choice to lay on when I'm under whatever I'm working on as I just have an ATV lift I got at the dump and fixed. Those foam panels also make my compressor quiet enough to not wake anyone up at three am. Edit: I restore Weber grills to donate and need a degreaser that's safe so I will be ordering a case as oven cleaner isn't meant for what you cook directly on and smells like cancer.

I wish you would have showed how you finished off the center hub. Like how you connect the axles to it and how you keep the hollow bar in place as well as how you connect the axles to the spindle hubs.

As always I really enjoy your fabrication / design build videos.Their quality sets your channel apart from the others. You've inspired me to purchase a TIG welder to complement my other welders. I'm looking forward to learning a new skill. I am currently building an off road kart/buggy ( inspired by you) and am just about ready to to roll the frame upside down to complete the welding.

A lot of vehicles I do alignments on have bushings like that on the rear control arms and they have tie rods that can adjust toe to some degree. Your right about those bushings having flex in them. They flex enough to adjust toe about 2 degrees

Got that right. The plastic he's talking about using will work but will still wear out pretty quick. Three heim joints, one on top and two on the bottom outside of the knuckle(not spindle), would be a better longer lasting solution.

I feel like if I was fortunate enough to have a shop like yours I would never leave it ( except testin on things 🤣). Amazing work you're doing here, loving this build. I think having to add those washers was just an improvement overall, doubling the wall thickness on those bolt eyes will add some years to them for sure. Thank you for all the effort to record, edit, and upload all this great content, its nice for guys like me to get to live the fab life vicariously. Also you're awesome for always adding product links, its that type of effort and attention to detail that sets a channel a notch above the rest.

There's rubber,or polyurethane which is a plastic.Those are must more stable and used to stiffen older suspension by replacing the rubber bushings.Anywho...That looks like it's coming along pretty well.It'll be tearing up the woods in 3 weeks?Can't wait to see the SEMA cart.By now it's going to take allot of cleaning to get the rust off before painting.Should be interesting to watch.

The plastic goes by the trade name Delrin. I buy it in 2 inch thick sticks that are 36 inches long. They are pretty cheap and you can make a lot of bushings with that.

I think you are at the point where you should think about a street legal on road off road vehicle like the Ariel Nomad.. you can get GM ecotec turbo engines and transmissions from wrecked cobalts, cruize and other GM platforms.. I'm in the planning stage of doing just that.. something fun and economical with todays fuel costs in mind. and fast? Holy Moly.

Hey, so this is a little off topic, I’ve got a Coleman 200 ex mini bike with a cvt followed by a 60 tooth rear sprocket from go power sports (it’ll do 40 with a bone stock predator 212 and pop a wheelie with my 6’4 230# self on it) My big question is- Have you ever seen one of these with a transmission on it? It would be cool to have a couple extra gears…

I think when you factor in the added weight of the vehicle the lower gearing may be necessary for the engine-which though it makes decent horsepower, it makes fairly low torque, and torque is what moves weight. Plus, if it really does turn out to be geared too low, he can always put bigger wheels and tires on it! WINNING!

Hey Red Beard, I have been working on a predator 301 build on a mini bike of mine that is idling too high, or in some ways, not at all. I have installed Go Power Sports stage 1 kit, and jetted the carb. I have also put a Go Power Sports 40 series CVT on there, similar to the build you posted about 4 years ago, which I took heavy inspiration from. Do you have any tips for me in terms of fixing the high idle?
@haroldsegur9524

I had a prob. With my st.1 301 kit,stock carb with gov. Disconnected,the jet I got with it was way........too rich.would not idle smooth,and would not Rev fully up.pulled plug and pure jet black soot,right,too rich,put stock jet in and it was perfect,and it ain't no slug. go Power was non communicado on technical help.may help you,but you probably got it fixed by now.red beard was not joshing when he said st. 1 kit on that engine w. A mini bike was all you need! Whew!

I think the round stock is cool looking but if square mild is good enough for Ferrari then I can't see any reason why I it would t be for a homebuilt buggy ..... besides aesthetics but I don't care about that one bit, just trying to chop saw & mig Thanks
