I just watched the whole assembly series and I loved it! I have the same bike fully disassembled and I’m gathering parts and ideas to restore it. This is a great reference series and motivation

I have an 87 fzr750, have spent a lot of time fixing it up but it will never be as nice as yours. Head down feet up torture machine but rides and steers beautifully 😅 reminds me of my youth where we lusted after these and read about them in magazines 🤩

Wow!! It's like new. Great job. I can't wait to hear this thing running. I noticed so many similarities with the FZR1000 again.

Thanks Ken. I am really happy with the end result. The fairings have not been restored apart from repairing some cracks but no paint job. So it still has some scratches and small cracks here and there but I will leave it for now. Yes, FZ, FZR and YZF 750 an 1000 (Thunderace) have a lot in common.

@@jh-tech5546 From the videos, you can't see any flaws in the panels whatsoever. Can't wait to hear it run and to see you riding it!!

You keep inspiring me dude! Question: Do you sell these after you're done restoring them? Or are you keeping them for your own collection? Either way, it's really cool.
@jh-tech55467 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. For now I still have all the bikes. And would like to keep them in my collection if possible. I won't be riding this one I think. But I have restored it ready to ride.

Really nice job, is there an opportunity to contact you and ask something specific about the hoses from the carbonator and fuel tank ?
@jh-tech55467 ай бұрын
Hi, feel free to ask here, maybe it is interesting for others too. Or you can mail me, mail (see channel details).

Very nice job. Roughly how many hours did it take to re-assemble the bike?
@jh-tech55467 ай бұрын
Thank you! Good question. I didn't do any tracking of time but was curious too. So I took all the episodes at real speed and in total it takes 2 hours and 43 minutes. Of course that is assuming all the parts and tools are ready to grab. And also spending lots of time searching for the right bolt or nut on each component.
