I went to school with three of these guys and was at Golden Voice when they recorded this. ....One take on each song BTW. As we said back in the day... Farm Out!

I know Mike pretty well and I know Del too. Mike and I used to play cowboys together when we were little kids. Both are great guys and very talented musicians. FARM was a great band and very popular regionally in their heyday. They got a great crowd response at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield when they opened for, CANNED HEAT.

@@catherinemurray3743 I know the guitar player & drummer personally. They've remained musically active over the years, though not as Farm. They just did that one album, 500 copies pressed & sold. It's a rare gem if you're lucky enough to come across a copy.

One of the true highlights of growing up around Mousetown was walking into the Inn Crowd or Silverstreak and seeing the entire bar bouncing around having a great time to this album.

Their roadie PeeWee Irvin drove their rented Uhaul under a pedestrian overpass at Rend Lake College in Ina, Illinois, and it wrecked all of their shit. I ran off with the harmonica player's old lady. Great times! :)

Never got the admiration for this album. It is fairly mediocre. Even for a third tier southern rock boogie type album. Guess it is cool because of the rarity and feeling one is “in the know”. Otherwise fairly meh. Very good sound and transfer though! Well done.
