The reason the thrusters made you all spin out is because they produced a thrust force above the back wheels. This pitched your cars forward and took weight off the back tires losing grip. Therefore you spin out. A way to fix this would be to put thrusters at or below the center axis of your wheels. This will push the rear tires down and pitch the front up causing under steer. Or it will cause nothing to happen if it is centered and the car will drive normally all the way through.

In the firs race you had way more downforce on the front than rear, its bettter to build the supercar wing, it just generates more downforce( if you had more balanced downforce, you wouldnt have that many problems with oversteer)

Day 2 of asking: You should do a star wars themed game. Have the razor crest be carrying something that you have to get from one planet to the next with starships protecting and attacking the each other. The job of the attackers is they have to destroy the razor crest before it gets its cargo to another planet. Like the same thing you did with planes. Just an idea that I thought of.
