Which motor re you using

normal steppers, 17HS4401, I bought a kit with 5 steppers from aliexpress

Same I bought but I bought 3 only I'm planning to build modular cnc bvolume of 30mm by 30mm 3 motors enough?

if you only use one motor on z, it can work, if you want to also print plastic you need one more for the extruder to push the filament

That's what I thought but I feel 1 motor is not enough for it
