No. Throne was never his right. Because according to the rules of tradition, Iskender had died years before. So he can't again sit on the throne. Zulfikr warned iskender many times but he chose wrong path. He could have lived a happy life if he wasn't manipulated by safiye for the power and throne. She loved iskender but she loved power as well. beside loving iskender, safiye also used him as his weapon for power. As a result iskender had to die like this.
