I saw another note but KZbin seems to have lost the comment, I think you mentioned the Westin net. It’s an excellent piece of kit, I think they do a size up which I’m considering for my medium pike set up.

I bet that if you you put a trace on and went pike fishing with the same Ned rig all you would catch is Perch all day long. I like the reel that you are using, what is it please? Those Pike look like great fun on your drop shot rod.

Haha. I’ve added 18lb fluorocarbon to the perch rig. The reel is one of the older Diawa ninjas, I think it’s a 2000 or 2500 size. It does the job nicely.

Shame about the camera angles. Couldn't see what was happening when fish was hooked and being landed and unhooked
