This expression is so vivid that we can pick up the idea so easily. In Taiwan, we always say , Take your American time. However, people in Europe will be doing everything more leisurely than others in the rest of the world. So I might put it this way:Take your Spanish time until you finish your business in the toilet.

Here in Taiwan, "American Time" has another usage: "I don't have that much American Time."

可以， 這樣的感覺是說我不在乎別人怎麼想，我不要急我要好好的享受我用的時間。 像這樣： I don't care if they need me now, I'm gonna take my sweet time and finish this sandwich, I haven't eaten all day!
