Do you guys really believe that you can REALLY walk out of the trauma of your family? Or just learn to live with it, knowing that you will never be ok but accept the problems, like a person without a leg learning to dance? Even if you walked out of it, and become emotionally, financially independent etc, doesn’t karma has a way to haunt you back with your worst nightmare? Sometimes decades later? I don’t know…

谢谢你的解析 💜不知道会不会出书评系列视频? 如果有我想推荐另外两本讲童年经历的 memoir,一本是 Educated by Tara Westover 一本是 Why be happy when you could be normal by Jeanette Winterson (和这个作者同名)。小说也有几本我很喜欢的,都有很多童年影响人格的素材 - Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman - A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman - Chemistry by Weike Wang - Maybe You Should Talk To Someone by Lori Gottlieb - Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
