I have that same youkamoo adapter. It works, but it's terribly microphonic. However, I ordered 3 or 4 other 4.4 to 1/4 adapters on Amazon and this was the only one that worked. Apparently there's something complicated about wiring 4.4mm adapters properly? 🤷🏻

I owned new the next model down from this, had the complete rack system... let it all go thinking it had passed it's day tech-wise. Recently recognized my error & have purchased the VSX-D1S in fantastic condition just to run as a two/three channel system... a truly unrecognized marvel that will soon be much sought-after, especially by those presently thinking there's no worthwhile vintage gear after 1980. Get in on one before the inevitable rush hits.... Just sayin'...
