Yes Dr. Fusum it was the best strategy to back to Sahil when Ethiopia supported by all Estern warsw pact countries. When I see it know how they were very advanced poletical educated was running the Eritrean freedom fighters. That time I remember so many Eritrean was shocked. Asmara was in a circle 10km but situation changed. I admire to the high degree to our liders they diside to pull back to the orgin place Nakfa. If not pulling back the Tanks of the enemy will run over our brothers. The countries of Soviet union. East Germany cuba and all socialist countries was line up with Ethiopia. Long live to our martys and the dynamic elites of Eritrea back then. I will say the Eritrean stragle is unique ON this planet with out no help from outside world. Even Vietnam revolution had help from Soviet union. I can say Eritrean fighters are the most distinguish fighters on our planet.
