This will also work on a Hybrid Q50 as I’m the first to ever do it on a hybrid using the AMS kit but instead of using the pump they provided I used the OEM Hybrid pump along with the OEM Denso Redsport pump. The Z1 kit should also work the same.

1 thanks for these vids. I appreciate the engineers getting to talk about their products. Although getting a proper mechanic to interview your engineers might be a good idea. This kid was absolutely lost. He did his best to keep the convo guided but he was way over his head. It's a bit awkward.

Hey, have u figured out? I’m also really curious, especially am I will be able to use oem and Z1 upgraded pump, or can I use 2 Z1 pumps at the same time in non red sport q50

Yea I figured it out lol, it’s only a secondary pump so you have to use your oem and use that as an additional one if you had a red sport you’ll use the secondary and take this towards it but as ours being a non red sport it’ll just be an addition

If I am tuned, do I need to re-tune after I install this product?

Nope, no tuning is required for this. The ECU has compensation tables for different charge air temperatures - so lower charge air temps just put it into a different part of that compensation table.

how does this match up to the AMS pump?? . ive been waiting sinch November for AMS and am tired of waiting but want to know how it compares (the flow rate ) im glad another company stepped up and made another pump. we need competitive companies.

@@2seep happy to hear that. Had to go with the Z1 pump anyway because ams won't have anything untill October or later. Alrdy waited 4 months just to be told that smfh. Cars getting tuned now as we speak. Z1 pump ,ams HX and LDP. Fast intentions sport cbe, afe drop in filters.

You do not need to get re-tuned after this upgrade

Is it possible to run dual z1 coolant pumps on the q60? Or is it necessary to keep the stock one

One is really all you need. Two is not recommended, the flow rate of this pump already generates more head pressure against the heat exchanger core. Two could lead to component failure on the IC or HX. To push it further be sure to checkout the larger VRX70 turbos we offer, their larger exhaust housing has a massive upside regarding the temps.
