Sooo, why cant you just do a test on a stock car? You pic a car with a $1500 exhaust, a lightweight flywheel!, and test pipes. What is the point?? I think most of use would like to see results with a stock car. Most of us don't have lightweight flywheels btw.

nice to see a new product but the maf sensor should never be on the bottom of the tube to mitigate water droplets while driving through heavy rain, should not be placed at the absolute top either due to condensation.

Just installed on my 370z! Excited for the first drive out tomorrow! One thing that I thought was a nice touch in the kit was the shorter bolts supplied to replace the factory near the radiator stay. The only thing I'd change would be some color instructions with a few more photos. Found myself just not using the instructions and going for it, until I found that there's ONE bolt that holds in the stock intake reducer snorkel thing (fought with it for a while, and then figured out finally that there's a bolt holding it in / stupid me). One other thing: Does Z1 sell a PCV delete kit to breathers? I felt bad putting that junk back on but luckily my TB's are pretty clean at this point.

The fact you dont have to drill is slightly more intriguing than the Stillen honestly. But also I do think that having Test Pipes probably inflates the numbers a little more. I have an exhaust only so I assume it wouldnt be as big of numbers.

Just have mine installed. Wow....what an intake 🙂 what an intake 🥰 what an intake 🤩😍👌 👏....really wake up the car. It is a slightly louder in a good way, more responsive for sure, faster and I get better gas mileage as well. Can't want to get my Z1 header from them. They're very professional and their respond back time are quick.

Duo Maxwell installation took me 2 1/2 hours but that’s because I took my time. You can hear and few a difference right away around 5k. Still haven’t gotten a tune and still works great.

What do you guys charge to do the exhaust, intake and tune, parts and labor on stock 370? 2014, Automatic, bone stock. Has sport option but don’t think that matters. I’m not worried about flywheel upgrade, that sounds really expensive. You’re west of atl right?

Jon, we are west of Atlanta just off of I20 in Carrollton. As far as parts and labor, it really depends because you have quite a lot of exhaust options, a few on tuning as well. I'd recommend giving us a call at [phone] and get ahold of Jon, he's our in-house tuner and will be able to help you find what combination works best for your budget. For labor we'd have to get you over to our service department.

Devin here - It would be interesting to see similar tests with the DE. The m-spec intake comes with a K&N filter with no integrated velocity stack. The Z1 intakes for HR come with integrated v-stacks, so it seems the DE would benefit more from a v-stack than the VHR in this video. I installed the v-stack on my DE with the m-spec race intake, and noticed decent gains on the butt dyno - can't wait to get it retuned, and see what it puts down.

@@LuisGonzalez-vx1oo I would say it did. I have the Z1 race intake and had to modify the crash bar for clearance. There are a couple other intakes that include v-stacks though for the DE, like the PopCharger or Z1 short tube intake. I can't really mention any specific numbers since my last retune a couple years back was for several changes.

New to the 370z game. I have a 2017 370z Nismo. Do I need to cut the bumper to fit this mod on my car and do I need to take my bumper off to clean the filter?

Hey Edward, the crash bar will need to be modified for the larger filters, but the bumper cover itself will not need to be cut. You will need to remove the bumper cover to clean the filters, but because they're tucked up under the fascia they're in clean air and don't get dirty too quickly.

I have a few Z1 parts which I love and also wanted to know are 3inch intakes just a hype or can they have a better top end over the intake u guys offer. Only comments we have are from admin but I’m sure he will support his product, and FB groups where the drivers don’t know anything but hype.
