She has to, because she wasn't at first and people were calling her out on it. She did not "write" it Jon Bellion is a songwriter and has confirmed he wrote that hook in a writing camp, I don't think he even knows that she is claiming to write monster. She "writes" with songwriters, ie: writing sessions where artists sit with songwriters/producers, see 4:23 she is kind of not being honest. She just lost the songs to other more famous people, Everyone thinks she wrote Rihanna's part and they took it from her.
