Would have liked to see the nuclear reactor get built. In the original Subnautica it did have a constant drone sound so I built a separate room some distance from the main base and connected it with tubes.

Posted this someplace else yesterday so I figured I would share it again here since he's doing base building: Quantum Locker and Recyclotron are two of the best and most useful additions to the game. Especially for base building. Quantum Locker (takes 4 spaces in inventory) holds an extra 12 free spaces worth of inventory so you can transport big items (like maybe a snowfox) and extra gear like a pengling therefore opening up more inventory space. Recyclotron: When collecting resources, always make wiring kits (silver), copper wire (copper) and ingots (both titanium and plasteel) for transport and storage to your base so fabricator module for the seatruck are a must have. Then use the Recyclotron to pop them back out when you need them when your making things plus does also save a ton of inventory space. Very handy to have when making lots of stuff and also saves making many repeat trips do to limited space. Note: When using Recyclotron, do not try to make glass and recycle it later back into quartz. It won't do it, I'm assuming since it fuses the quartz molecules together is why which does make sense. Free Tether Tool Trips Exploit: Use tether tool to return to Teleportation Module, Do Not Put Another Ion Cube In, take to aforementioned Recyclotron and break it down into it's parts, take to fabricator and make another one. No Ion Cube Needed for Free Teleport Trips, at all, ever!!! Yes I let them know about this.

You need to put a reactor in, maybe 2 if you want both nuclear and bio. Think you didn't get all the posters because you didn't have space. May want to go back and just get decorative items.

Recyclotron best use: Unpacking Titanium from ingots. You can transport and store much more titanium.

I would love some videos that go over all available base building pieces from the cosmetic things to the potential uses for the large room dividers. Just a simple showcase video of all base parts and potential base decorations. Sure I’ve scored over the wiki for hours and drooled at the thought of getting to make the coolest Subnautica base ever when it comes out on console platforms but I wanna get a refresher and see the potential ideas. Base tours are cool too, but I wanna see all the parts and pieces that can be put towards base builds. Am I the only one with this desire? Please tell me fellow commenters!

Those aquariums can be multiple levels tall if you stack another room on top and make another aquarium on the next level.

On the bioreactor - there was a really cool mod for the first game called something like "Better Biofuels" that added utility to several plants and even to some of the miscellaneous items you find around the wrecks. It was really cool, but I doubt we'll see a mod port for a while.

You need to build that nuclear reactor. You get 2500 energy and each rod will give you 20,000 hours in the game. That and you get power day and night time. Power every thing in your base with no problems. :) You already have one rod, so come on.
