Hey Z. I don't know if you've noticed but if you press J then you can edit the resources shown in the top left of your hud and also how many resources are shown there. Could help you keep a better look at resource availability for building. Using right click on a resource also tells you all uses and how it is produced (you can also click further to look at the production tree more)

I think white floor would have been better option if you can get them, they are a lot easier to see what you're placing (that was written before you got to that point yourself). You could get rid of the long conveyor on top by placing converter into tubes between the auto-asteroid-miners, and pipe the output directly under, same with power.

Don't forget you can destroy a floor tile and build below the ship. Might be more efficient to run your electrical that way

You can hit "u" to upgrade a machine instead of deleting then building again

quartz is mined from rocks and some times you can find it in the ground but you have to mine it manually there is not a way to automate quartz atm

For the Auto Asteroid Catchers. if you put it so they had ONE outlet for all in the Middle it would help you Sort for Power or Smelting seeing as you have ONE LINE to sort rather then 4.

Z, you will eventually have a backed-up of resources because the conveyor belt can only handle a specific load of items. Processing them will become a problem to come, not being processed fast enough that is. This is just a foresight anyways, loved your series on Astro Colony you've done awesome work.

You can press "J" to customize your inventory HUD and add more than the basic mats to the top left. You can also pin your research types to the HUD with the button in the top right of the research window.

Can you please give Icarus a retry? Dude it is extremely fun once you are used to the nits and grits. I've been playing solo for the past 2 weeks... At first it took me a whole day just to get to iron tools... but now... I get to platinum tools in less than 2 hours... Workshop tools... talent points... a little bit of map knowledge and getting used to the game takes a while but once you do... It is extremely addictive and you won't even realize how long you've been playing for.

its a garbage game the only incentive to keep playing is earning money to bring tools down from the station that are marginally better than the starting tools which you cant even repair making them as useless as a car with no tires i played it all the way through the beta weekends and a bit when it launched and it isn't worth the headache if they had made it where you could bring down the crafting tables maybe it would be a lot more fun but even then there's no point to the game its like deep rock galactic but with no sense of reward!

This looks like it’s going to be a fun game, but their payment methods make me not want to get it.the beta is almost as much as the game when it goes live. If they wanted to charge for early access to the game then they should’ve charge more than what the game would’ve been when it went live and made that include the base game when it goes live
