Z, for your drill, there is a heap of wrecks in the boolean forest area and there are heaps of diamonds and nanocarbon alloy and large batteries etc out there. I skipped the 2nd drill bit on both the rover and the dig tool because of that. As for your train Z, you could also run the train upside down going down levels into the caverns. I have trains in Sylvia system that resemble a rollercoaster more than a train system.

The plants that shoot at you are actually the best ones to tap for organic... those actually DO give you the seeds for the harmless mutant version, and when tapped they provide organic insanely fast. 15:32 If you think that train ride is crazy, you haven't run a line to the core of a planet... 18:20 Was surprised to see some lithium mixed in with the patch of resin. I definitely would've used the train even if I hadn't seen you using it... haven't started the DLC yet, going to finish the missions in the base game first.

When rails first came out I went back to a planet I made wide tunnels to the core and made an actual corkscrew. They are so much fun to mess with, you can even see them from space!

with VTOL it is easy to get to core and do the last mission but i would like to see you to make rail way to center of planet. It should be doable i think :D

at least like 30-50, most of the dlc is fun but it really is a walking festival and a waiting festival for storm data to come out, i love astroneer but i wish the dlc was something for the actual game and not its own planet because its pointless after you finish the dlc

What sucks is you want to build a lot of stuff to make a trek to the core, that’s what I did. But in the end, after the last barrier comes down, you literally just need a jet pack and maybe two hydrazine. There is nothing down past the zeta barrier to even farm. Just jet to the bottoms then you do some stuff. It was very sad. I expected the planet to appear over my last save, which would’ve been awesome but they got lazy and just made its own one planet system. Lazy.
