Ooooo! 😸 I almost forgot. Lol Maybe run a line of blocks from the first level of the nearest tree to the lake and then tubes right back for pumped water to the Treehouses. The same thing would probably work for chemicals. Just have the pipes meet the main crafting area into chests so you can connect to production and refining. 🦁☺️ Love the series!

i like the desert area because a large hanging base with large elevators and automated stuff is awesome + you could set up pumps going straight into your automated system and then you good

When putting up tram lines you can stick one end on a bearing and get the angle perfect by holding shift and dragging on a controller

The big tree on the first chemical pool island would be the most scenic, if you ask me. But the plateaus surrounding the trader might offer a place to farm safely from totebots and haybots. Not sure about the tapebots or the big bots. Plus the trader has a pond for water. And you don't want to be too far from your farm in case you install some automated harvest/planting machinery, cause those will stop working when you are away. I am tempted to set up in a crate packing station myself, assuming the ground inside can be planted.

You can build at the trader. Bots will still spawn on grass when you farm. But the ridge above the trader is super defensible with enough space for a decently large farm. Current building a massive base above the trader with a big elevator to lift me and my vehicles up and down.

Definitely the treehouse the clams are more important than the cotton, all the other resources are the same. Plus I think it's pure genius to connect the three trees, (maybe a small spot on top of the nearest big rock for eatables and the bigger one on the far hill for your trade-in crops). Otherwise I can only say just go with your gut, it's done you well so far. I've been watching since the beginning and loved it all. I look forward to seeing whichever one you end up building. (But I really hope it's the Treehouses.) 🦁

Use the hill to your advantage. Set up a drawbridge from the hill to the next rock and set up your base there.

I have a very tiny island of about 200 blocks, its about ~500 blocks out of the shore, it wont spawn any robot when you are on it, but when you arent around when the raid start, they just 'popup' on the island. No idea thats the best idea :P But cant wait for the tree-trolleys, since i tried mine (~1000 blocks) and the game went absolute crazy, i was bouncing all over the place.

I think the last location is better because clams and oil are more useful than cotton and you can make a giant platform connecting those big trees and make that your base!

Somewhere on the map, exists a huge chemical plant. It has multiple water pools as well as chemical pools. It is flat, concrete. The whole thing is surrounded by a mote, with steep walls and a bridge across. The downside, packaging station is kinda far

No. Haybots cant swim and they'll not enter water. But I think Big Red is waterproof and can walk through water.

I'm on my 8th location, perfection IMHO. Between 2 warehouses, 4 floors each. Chemical plant near each, islands not TOO far off shore. Right on the edge of biomes with cotton and paint flowers. Also JUST discovered a charred forest just on the other side of nearest warehouse with 3 caged farmers 😀 yes it's a 10 minute drive to the trader but I'm happy. Still haven't found a scrap city 😭 come to my map if you'd like to catch an uber to my paradise ❤

i settled on a small island in the middle of a lake, i farm there and i have 0 bot spawning during raids, this is busted plus you can extend the island with blocks to have more place

I think you could maybe try a base on top of a warehouse. 1. Definitely not easily accessible by anyone except you (with an elevator) 2. there is a warehouse very close to your original base (meaning you can still use the specialty robot crafter and it’s close to water and chemicals) 3. That’s just an awesome way to take back the land stolen from you by the bots

I just found out that those scrap towns and buildings that you could take the wood from. And such can actually put them on a lift and carry the building to your base and either have a mini city at your base or carry the building back to have it scraped for supplies *****update it work on all of the shack fruit stands you just have to take out the bottom floor thath means everything that touches the ground all the flooring but leaving the the walls and everything attached to the walls intact and the building will just drop down and you can use the lift to carry it all

if you go to the traders turn right at the arch and there is a mountain top that the bots cant spawn on i have 4 farms with 30 plots each there and my base.totally the safest place on the map and it is on every map as traders are the same on all maps :)

chemicals and water aren't such a big deal, set up a pump with a chest or two or more and let it gather tons for you... clams and oil on the other hand aren't so easily farmed.

Near the the trailer there is some very tall mountains and bots can’t spawn up there it matters how big the ground aria of your bace is so ideally a mountain bace would work amazing!!!
