100% and I hate that they exist as mazes not because some incompetent terraforming convict laid out his base in a weird way (mostly because his stuff didn't snap too and couldn't exist on certain rocks and there's not a single piece of flat land anywhere) but because a guy in a shipyard decided that layout was practical. It makes no sense in lore, and I feel like 95% of the player base doesn't love exploring a maze, that is also quite buggy and not technically attached to the landscape properly as you'll soon find out if you hit F4 to get out of one that you can't get out of. And.... the low difficulty ones are no less maze like as far as I can tell. Great idea, poorly implemented.

having a mapping chip that shows the layout of a wrack as you travel it would be helpful. but I'm pretty sure that is why the devs added flares instead. however there might be a mod to do mapping.

Activating the Fusion Reactors in portal wrecks will open more doors to big safes, which is particularly useful on the easier portals which only have a couple of safes. Also while you might not have found many fuses in the second wreck you did pick up a boatload of Terra Tokens for instance you had 9900 at 20:59 but 27500 by 26:51.

flares are your friends when exploring wracks. however you can also break down creates and drop the iron to mark empty pathways.

Personally I like the portal wrecks, they're fun. But I agree about the getting lost thing, It's happened more than once that I nearly died in the game because I almost ran out of water and/or food. Also, it's generally a good idea to bring explosives and one fusion battery to each wreck. There is also a number of chests outside of the wrecks that are usually filled with good stuff, including fuses. Edit: The fusion reactor opens up locked doors, behind which there are mini vaults with one vault locker with goodies.

You still need to explore all the wrecks on the map, and the hidden base that Ikhlas built. I think you need explosives and key cards to get to that base so doing the portal first was the way to go.

I believe there is enough extra key cards from the new wracks around the main map. that will allow you to access the new hidden base without having to do portals first. but I likely could be wrong in that regard.

ideally you want to collect or check all the creates in wracks because they also can have tokens and other goodies.

Why don't your flower spreaders have any flowers in them? It boosts their productivity. If you put out the butterfly things you'll also see those butterflies start to appear around the world, same with frogs and other things. Not to mention boosting your terraforming speed

the various wracks both new and old around the main map have a decent amount of tokens among other things in them to help out.

if you setup the trade rocket early on to demand some or all of the materials that give you tokens at a low priority and to auto launch. your drones will refill it when they have nothing else going on after your storages are filled allowing you to slowly get tokens overtime at least.

I like this series. I suggest to also explore the planet to find more boxes and pick up what you left behind (the flare for ex., you will need it some time). Maybe you will find secrets on alien planets, who knows what the producer put inside... you already found a planet with 2 wrecks.

I reeeally don't like the wrecks. Not only do they give me anxiety, but when I move around too quickly in there, I get nauseous x.x I mean, I am using the flares to find my way back most of the time. That helps with the anxiety, but the quick motions in these narrow paths make me literally sick :((

I would set the storage container that is setting on the portal gate device to supply everything but the quarts and also the access cards so you can keep them at the portal device.

Save your terra tokens, one of the endings require 250k terra tokens. It used to be 500k but the devs reduced it.

Mixed feelings about the wrecks. I like some the stuff you van get but I don’t get the feeling to be in a wreck. It’s for the most part a maze of hallways. Personally I wouldn’t mind if they would remake these wrecks to feel more like a spaceship or maybe a lost base
