Z1, you can put just a single small battery on each tall plataform so that it supplies ligths forever. You won't need energy conection and brings mobility to the tall platforms... just a tip. Of course, in case you want to use an isolated tall platform

Z1, you just gave me an idea! A large platform type-B with 2 large storages, 4 medium soil canisters (on 1 large storage), & 4 medium silos on the other! With 8 soil canisters on them! A single medium soil canister uses 2 regular soil canisters, when they are set for output! Or, you could have 2 of each on each side! Something I discovered on my 2nd play through! Trust me, it will blow your mind to watch it work!!!

Why not use the alignment mod to flatten the surface of your base? You won't have those ledges that way. Anyway, enjoy the basebuilding videos. Gives me many an idea. The light set up, might have to try that out...

I wish you had a video walking us through how you made the flat ground. I know it's not true flat. I have tried so many times to make my base flat and it always goes up on an angle or I go to start over and the ground I just leveled is too high or too low from when I started again. It's driving me nuts. You had a little of that issue too I saw.

idk if you have already found this out, or if you still play, once you start going above the ground then use the alignment mod and make a patch and flatten from there. There is going to be an angle from where the previous flattened area meets the new, but you can negate it if you care. You could also just start at a center point slightly lowered, and flatten until it blend with the terrain. Sorry for bad explaination.

Put the wind turbines and solar arrays on top of the tall platforms; I'm pretty sure you'll get better performance that way!

So, I’ve been rewatching this series (again lol), I just really enjoy this game/watching you play it. But it’s weird when you say things like “we don’t have the true flat tool” when it’s totally in adventure mode now. In fact, the game is just sooooo different now, there’s sooo much that’s different. Still so much is the same aswell, but it’s just very different. I do also wonder if you have played it with the new changes/updates and also if you are thinking about making a new complete series. Especially with the snail missions now too. Hope to see another series and you do all the things and that fun stuff. Love watching this series.
