I have the Moto mod, plus I bought the rapid charge wall charger, I often find myself not using the mod, the rapid charger from Motorola is the best I can get my phone charge in about 30 minutes while I am using it, and sure u tested with the brightest at 100% how many people use it at that level, is not recommend, I am a heavy gamer and I don't use sound so your test should be done in other ways, like brightest at 70% and other life situation, but I will tell you this, Moto has one of the best stand by time I seen, when I first got it , I tested like it I was an average Joe, emails, Text, Phone calls and it last me 3 days from 100% until I charged it when it was at 8%, and for 350$ on T-Mobile with all the bells and whistles, you can't beat that, I for sure will never pay a 1,000 for an iPhone X.

Nice, I just ordered this phone today and glad to see these results. Seems more than sufficient. Of course, it'll deteriorate over time but this is good out-of-the-box screen on time! I wonder how the Motomod battery pack will add to this... and how fast the wireless charging module works!

Rodrigo Simões so far, I've had mine for 5 weeks, and I can easily recommended this device from all the 2017 flagships with Snapdragon 835. From my experience it lasts well over a day on a single charge (from 100%). Screen on time can last over 8 hours, depending on how you use it. I'm not sure how Motorola managed to get this device to get such amazing battery life. By comparison, I've used an Essential PH-1 for a month prior to purchasing the Moto Z2F, they're both very similarly spec'd, PH-1 had the bigger battery but IPS display, Z2F had a smaller battery but comes with OLED display, both have Snapdragon 835 and run stock Android, so you'd think they'd have similar or better battery longevity per charge, but somehow that was never the case, PH-1 had horrible battery life (less than a day (usually less than 12 hours), whereas the Z2F lasts at least a day work the most intense screen usage.
