Z31 Ep 30 Compression test and leak down test for smoke coming from valve cover breathers

Broken ring land. Or as I like to say, rookie on the ringlands. Not going to be able to see it until you pull it out of there. Probably smokes a little blue after boosting too.

Yeah there’s another channel Reds Projects, and he pulls a piston out of a vg30 and the rings and ring lands are all broken. Pretty sure that’s what mine is like right now lol

@@samwashere1392 If you really want to fix it on the cheap you can just source another stock piston and use that tool you made to press it onto the rod…swap over your rings, rehone that cylinder and put it back in service. I’ve done that a few times with good results

@@1stockcam not sure what I’m going to do….for now I’m just gunna send it lol. I’d like to get another motor and get it ready to swap in with out doing to much to it then with the motor that’s in there now pull it all apart and maybe get a set of forged pistons?? Trying to take a little brake of dumping money in this thing tho lmao
