Also, the POM bushings in the kit are being released separately so it has all the pieces for single shaft or dual shaft kits. Instead of different molds they just include the whole thing in this kit.

Hi Jan, I'm watching this the second time after the release, Ive got the kit right in front of me. Nice of you to point out that this kit is made in Japan and even though the motor has a clear lid that it's a Mabuchi, I automatically assumed it was SMC. The bushing usually is on the A part. But seems VZ A parts contains the bumpers as well, and Tamiya seems don’t want the bumpers made with Low fiction POM material and also don’t want to go back to copper hat+ abs bushings, so then made the bushing separately with POM and keep the A parts ABS.

Yeah, it was a good decision on their part for the racers. For sure doing it this way is going to be more expensive but the MSRP doesn't reflect the added cost.

May be the wheel bushing is made of POM like in AR, but the rest of the A-part is not. That's why they use separate runner.

I think the smaller ones can be use either ms chassis or 5.0 counter gear. Bearing in ms counter can also be use at 5.0 that's I'm always do

I didn't mention the 5:1 counter gear but we mentioned that it should fit in the MS gears.

Normally I would have left it in, but nothing is different on it other than specific design elements for the body. Decided to cut down on the time of me rambling about stickers because they are less important compared to the rest of the kit.

We won't know until the kit is officially released. This is a pre-production kit. There's a chance final version could be different.
