The colours work, and as previously mentioned its a shame the stripe on the nose cone doesnt line up with the tank. I would probs go thinner with the gold too. I would like to see the same but a metallic racing green. Current grey model is too boring, think you will be custom painting a few. Can you ship them down to Team moto at Blacktown, NSW, although they will probs lose the keys...

@@AussieKawiman I own a Kawasaki Z900 2017, and love it a lot. My wife says that I love the bike more than I love her. She is not often right but on this occasion, well; do I say more ;) Back to the bike, I am very tempted to trade mine in for a Z900RS cafe especially with the new colours 2019 available over here in the UK. The only thing missing is the same power as my Z900, although it is not an issue if I may believe most reviewers. Most guys who tested the bike say that there is enough grunt to make us bikers happy. The analogue clocks are fantastic and one of my favourite features, I think Kawasaki created a winner here ! ! I will be on the lookout to see your next project my friend. Ride safely & talk soon.

Na will keep both, As for the power well it would be good to have the power but i honestly don't notice it that much,the whole ergonomics of the Z900RS Cafe feels bloody good to ride and with the local police being everywhere around here we ride it so hard to even open the bike up on the road.The seating position on the Cafe feels so classic and a bit sporty i just love it..Thanks for watching mate..Tell the wife not to worry too much..Enjoy

Allow me to offer the one dissenting voice here. I like the maroon base color, but the abundance of stripes on the tank make it look like some sort of Japanese melon. The huge stripe around the fairing seems out of scale, too.

Yeah we put a side cover badge on and the fairing strip is custom, Not a factory job, We ended up repainting this fairing onto a Jaffa colour and put on the Cafe Jaffa that we built. Thanks for watching mate..Enjoy

I get it that these are supposed to channel the spirit of the old K9, not replicate it. I so wanted it to move me (to the salesman's desk) but it did not. It's so close (for a modern bike) but not quite there. Kawasaki, please consider these ideas...put some fake fins on the barrel just for appearance sake. Drop the height of this thing by at least an inch front and rear (it looks like it's ready for an enduro). Four mufflers please and not the ridiculous things you put on some of you other four cylinder bikes..(I'm talkin' Z1000, talkin H2...you know the shite I'm referring to)... They don't have to be huuuge, just stylish and with reasonable clearance. Twin shocks please..and don't tell me they don't make useable modern twin shocks 'cause it's bullshit. This bike, even though built to a price is more expensive than it's Kawasaki Z900 sibling and for the extra coin, some adjustable piggyback shocks should be included. This particular bike, i like the paint even though as mentioned it could have been executed better in relation to stripes lining up etc. Quality is very good and the color is soooo much better than the shitty green of the stock Kawi Cafe version or even the psuedo Jaffa job. The whole "it's a Kwaka so it's got to be green" thing is about twenty years overdue for retirement (imho). That's it...that's my two bob's worth.

You can buy the genuine parts to put the screen and fittings onto the non cafe,But they are pretty expensive,are better off purchasing an aftermarket one from webike or someone like that.Retail on genuine is over $2500 Australian $$...Thanks for watching mate..
