Old video, but I have to comment. Have a '22 blue RS, but I'd trade it for this color combo. Your paint man is a wizard. I watched a video of a skilled Japanese bike painter and this type of paint scheme is crazy difficult. Beautiful.

I had a 1975 KZ with a similar paint scheme but mine was more red than maroon. Stripes were the same :) Looks cool.

That's the paint job I always related the old Z1's to in England. It looks fantastic. Shame Kawasaki only offer the orange and bland versions (and the green cafe jobs). Lovely work.

Love your Kawasaki passion. I've always found my Hondas to be lacking a "soulful" character. If that makes any sense. I've owned a 92 ZX6R, 99 ZX9R, and 14 Ninja 1000. Owned a 04 GSXR600, probably most fun bike I ever owned, a 08 CBR1000RR, two 2015 Goldwing F6B's, and now a 16 Goldwing. Ready for something fun with soul again!!! Keep up the great videos!! Keep in mind I only had one at a time.

Thanks for your encouragement, I love the sole of Kawasaki and have seen it from day 1, I have owned many bikes and the Kawasaki road bikes have been the only one's that i felt had that thing...You know a passion and past that was always leading the charge, Just makes you feel part of the cause(I think)and awesome sole in the management to the highest level.Most staff that work for Kawasaki have the same passion...I think you get the idea,Thanks for watching...

Love the paint scheme! Wish you guys were state side (US)! Lol, the Akrapovic headers with the stock can sounds absolutely beautiful! I think i read there’s no additional programming for the headers? I would keep the stock can with the headers as well, really like the look of the stock can.

Thanks mate, We love it to, The owner still send me pics of the bike and he has had it nearly 2 years. if you do the Headers i would recommend a tune as it will give you around 10hp more and smooth out the response but you don't have to.thanks for the feedback and for watching,Cheers.

The remap would be good,Smooths out the range but not 100% necessary,Have done most of these with no mapping at all and all seem to be going well..Thanks for watching mate..enjoy.

@@AussieKawiman As the owner of this beauty I can confirm that mapping makes a big difference, roughly 6-8 HP and smoothes out the range - as Aussie says, its not necessary but it does make a noticeable and positive difference.

Sorry mate, in Australia we call the Root beer and orange model the Jaffa, Because of a sweet we have here that is orange with a chocolate fill and is called a JAFFA..Looks like the brown and orange Zed 900RS.. Hope that helps, Cheers..

I do think these are really great looking bikes, but thinking back to the original z1 and z900, this new one looks a bit too small, doesn't seem to have the presents of the first ones

They do tend to look smaller but I think with todays technology we can fit more in a smaller package and it is all about power to weight as well. Is a pretty good remake though. Thanks for watching mate.. Enjoy
