If you warm your butter cream in the microwave, it will get darker. You’ll have to chill it a bit afterwards and then whip it up again, but the colors deepen and become more rich. Just give it a try.

I love the technique at the beginning where you DON'T trim the top of the cakes instead you flip and freeze. Very smart. Muting the colors also keeps them from being too intense and relatable with each other.

I think I got a couple tips. For one thing I’ve watched videos of making the flowers directly onto the cupcake and I’ve thought of making flowers ahead of time and freezing them to make the process more efficient on the day of decorating since I’m usually under a time constraint.

I was so excited to see that you posted a new video! I am one of your biggest fans. I thought these cupcakes were so beautiful, which is not uncommon of you. My ONE & ONLY issue with this video...I wish we could have seen the pinecone from a side angle, while piping them. Normanally, I love the angle at which your camera sits. It gives us a birdseye view of your flower piping. However, the pinecone "petals" are piped all around the sides, which wasn't really in our viewing. A;sp, is it possible for you to turn your sound up? I had my sound up as loud as it would go, yet I could hardly hear you. Please understand, I am not criticizing your work! I just want to be able to hear and see everything you do! You know I love ya', no matter what. Thank you so much for the wonderful videos that you share with those of us who are still on a "learner's permit"! ❤ And OLD!!🤗

The cotton flowers should only have 4-5 blooms with the brown casing in between each. Cutting back from 6 as you have here, will give them a more realistic look. Also, making the cotton balls larger, more puffy, will also make them look more realistic.
