With about 10 seconds left in the tenth round, Judah hit Mayweather with a low blow and followed it with a right hand to the back of Mayweather's head. As Mayweather hopped around the ring in pain, Steele called time to give Mayweather a rest period. Mayweather's uncle and trainer, Roger Mayweather, climbed into the ring and approached Judah. Yoel Judah entered the ring and threw a punch at Roger. At that point, members of both fighters' camps entered the ring and an all-out melee ensued. More than a dozen security officers and police officers rushed into the ring and managed to control the situation. After the ring was cleared, Roger Mayweather was ejected from the fight. Mayweather cruised through the last two rounds on his way to a unanimous decision victory by scores of 116-112, 117-111 and 119-109.
After the fight, the purses for both fighters were withheld until video of the fight could be reviewed. Don King argued that Mayweather should have been disqualified because his uncle was the first person to enter the ring. At an April 13 hearing, the Nevada State Athletic Commission fined Roger Mayweather $200,000 and revoked his boxing license for one year. At a hearing on May 8, the Commission disciplined the other offenders in the melee. It fined Yoel Judah $100,000 and revoked his license for one year, fined Mayweather cornerman Leonard Ellerbe $50,000 and suspended his license for four months, and fined Zab Judah $350,000 and revoked his license for one year

The first time I saw Zab and Floyd was on Raekwon video 100 rounds and was instantly inspired. At that time didn't know they would end up fighting in a classic. Shouts out to both hall of famers. Yall got me into boxing.

Their relationship was never the same after the fight? Yeah, no shit. You cheap shoted a dude you called friend twice in the worst way possible. 1 to the nuts, 1 to the back of the head like a weasel. Also, I'm with personal growth and all that but our NY people give Zab a pass way to much. When he was Fighting Zab was a dumb punk. If he couldn't instantly get over on someone he came apart.

I liked that fight between Zab and Floyd , Zab was guaranteed 3 million plus back end of PPV sales. He had lost a decision to Carlos Baldomir 3 months before the Mayweather fight. Those were the days.

I really dig what Zab accomplished in the sport of boxing but anything past six rounds with Zab, it always gets questionable. Floyd even called him a front runner.

Because he is a 5th & 6th round fighter. After that you can beat zab by applying pressure. Just don't let him catch you early because that's where he's most powerful. . .

Zab lets ne honest, Floyd wasn't pot shotting you. He was pressing the action and dominating the fight until you intentionally hit him low because you was on the verge of getting knocked out.

@@luggerphilippe8409 On the outside view point he looked strong But he must of not felt Strong in the actual fight... Combat sports are complex Sparring someone Watching them fight And . Actually fighting them are 3 different things On another day Zab possibley could have Knocked Floyd put I'm sure zab won the early rounds

Zab had already had a loss or 2 before the Floyd fight, one being a TKO if im not mistaken. 1 loss for sure. So to say nobody can beat u at that time is kinda crazy. And Floyd EASILY beat the guy that beat Zab as well. Styles make fights tho 🤷🏾‍♂️. Zab was good, just didn't stay focused or train hard consistently. Too much outta the ring trouble/distractions too. Remember the Dice Game fight in Miami? Was on KZbin in the early days. Zab was a wild boi

Zab won rounds 1, 2(should have been a knockdown) and 4. Floyd clearly won the 3rd and 5th round. Judah was up after 5 but it wasn't 5-0 or 4-1.

Zab intentionally hit Flyd Low bc he was close to getting stopped.. Zab was definitely ahead mid way & didn't get the knockdown when Floyds glove touched the canvas... Think about all the times that Floyd just toyed with fighters in the early rounds them pressed the action when his opponent got gassed...
