i'm 50 and my mother in law is 65. i don't mind wearing a little glitter, but she's afraid of it. its all in how you wear it and is fun. there are no rules on make up, except, some ladies need to let the 70s and 80s looks die. lol

I've really been impressed with the Wet N Wild 10-pan palettes. I have 2 of them, the Nude Awakening and Comfort Zone palettes. I love the maroon from the Nude Awakening palette; I've been pairing it up with the lighter transition shade, and throwing in a gold shimmer from another palette, and I love it

In Canada I found the CColor cosmetics eye shadow palettes in Winners/Marshalls. I found about 10 different palettes in those stores. In the States they may be in your TJ Maxx stores. And yes, the quality is amazing!

I picked up the Hard Candy palette on what I'm pretty sure was your recommendation, and I'm excited! It looks great. I also picked up another of theirs in shades of green. I was skeptical of the two glitter shades they included, but when I swatched them on my hand, I was amazed at how clingy they were. I can't wait to play around with them both!

I discovered Beauty Creations about 2 years ago and it has quickly become one of my favorite brands! This summer I travelled abroad for about a month and the only eyeshadow palette I took was one from their line. I don't think I repeated a look the entire time! Plus they have other items like foundations, primers, brushes, etc. I follow them on Instagram and it's so hard not to buy every palette they come out with. I think you would really enjoy their palettes too!
