"Touch of Spice" is a marvelous color, isn't it? It's a good alternative to a handful of popular MAC lipsticks and a extremely close dupe for "Twig". I you like MAC's Twig, Mehr, Brave, and Faux, you will truly enjoy "Touch of Spice". (I, too, have the same type of lip color again and again and again in my collection.)

I disagree, I have the maybelline pink for me, its way too dark and way too cool toned, the Pillowtalk has a slight salmoney pink to it, its not to cool toned, it also has a bit of coral in it. Mac lipstick in cosmo and the flower beauty ones are the closest.

It is very hard sometimes to tell the difference between them once applied on the lips, but I also noticed all the colors came from the same family group. That is why I don't spend a lot of money on super expensive lipsticks...there is always a dupe somewhere.

Love your videos Zabrena. I personally have tried many lipsticks and always go back to the same two brands. It isnt about the colour or the price for me. It is about the feel of the lipstick on my lips. For many years I would put Bonne Belle Blushing Gel on my lips and keep my mouth open until it sank in a bit tyen quickly wipe it away. It would stain my lips without drying them out. I did this because I could not find a lipstick that I could stand to wear. I do not like the feel of them on my lips. For my 30th birthday my Grandmother bought me a gift set of Guerlain Shalimar eau de parfum and a Guerlain lipstick. I knew they were luxury items and thought I had to try the lipstick and not just give it away. It felt AMAZING! Finally I had found a formula I could wear. In my early 40s I had some temporary financial strife and could not afford Guerlain so I began trying other lipstick brands again. No luck. I still could not stand them on my lips. I was in Japan a few years ago and found a lipstick there that I can wear as easily as Guerlain by Jill Stuart. Unfortunately it is more expensive than Guerlain! Now I wonder how Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks feel on the lips.

Hi Zabrena, I always enjoy your dupe videos. Last week I tried Charlotte Tilbury's Very Victoria which was a bit brown for me. I then tried your suggestion of Milani Matte Naked and I loved it. The color was perfect on my lips; even though is a matte formula it is creamy whereas Very Victoria is too drying on my lips. Thanks for all your suggestions.

These are nice, but with the Original Pillow Talk color or the KW one, having to combine 2 Maybelline shades that cost $12 each pretty much equals to the cost of 1 CT pillow talk lipstick, after taxes and shipping (if you're ordering online). Thanks for this video! Finding dupes and alternatives is always welcomed. I have Flower Beauty's "Spiced Petal", Maybelline's "Touch of Spice", and Milani's "Matte Naked" and adore them! The latter I use quite frequently to shift other lipstick shades toward something more neutral. It changes a lot depending on the lip liner or topper used, so I find it very versatile. Another lipstick that has the same "transforming" qualities is Maybelline's "Daringly Nude". I highly recommend it.
