I use Milani rose petal looking blush, clear front, gold rim. Matte finish, very natural so it can be layered. I especially like to use it some days because it helps conceal some of my oily-ness, and just the color is beautiful! I use tea rose

The NYX Matte Liquid Liner is my all time favorite! It legit stays on me no matter what I'm doing. Whether it's crying or swimming in the ocean, it stays put. I even applied some of it before working out once to test if it was sweat-proof and it still looked fresh by the end of it. I agree, the brush can be a pain in the ass sometimes, especially on your off days, but I just deal with it because it's so good.

The trick to felt tip liners is to store them standing up with the felt tip down. It keeps the tip soaked in product

I have loved the original PF eyeliner formula for years, except I have to use waterproof if I'm wearing liner all day. My eyes are watery. I was excited about the new PF waterproof eyeliner. While I like the formula, it seems like the brush tip isn't as fine as in the original formula. I feel like I'm not getting the same smooth application as the original. I'm still using it and plan on repurchasing, but it's not the same fo me. Anyone else notice a difference?

I have cerebral palsy, so doing my eyeliner has always been a struggle; not only because of my hands, but because most applicators cause me to blink or twitch in some form when applying. I had bought the NYX Vivid Brights Eyeliner (which is basically the same thing as the Liquid Matte, just in color) for an event I was going to, and it was the first eyeliner brush that I didn't even feel touching my eye. I loved it so much I bought the Liquid Matte one on Amazon the next day. It's even cheaper there - $4.72!

Neutrogena makes my very favorite makeup remover. Their Light Cleansing Oil is honestly my favorite. It's easy to use, rinses clean with water (somehow), and doesn't leave my skin feeling painful from dryness.

I have sensitive eyes, and the Neutrogena oil makes my eyes tear so badly. After I used it up, I refilled it with regular cooking oil, and haven't had that problem

EbonRaven, it's my HG eye makeup remover from the drugstore, since I use waterproof liner and mascara. I'm trying to eliminate using disposable makeup wipes and cotton pads. The Neutrogena cleansing oil only requires using my fingers to do the work. So it's a win-win!

@@cm_mb I use a washable makeup removing cloth as well as the oil. It's one of those pink ones that can go through the laundry. That just helps me exfoliate my skin really gently at the same time. But I also love that I can just use my hands with the Neutrogena.

Elizabeth Garcia, try Milani's new primer, it's lilac instead of white. It's amazing! It takes my lashes up to another level, no matter which mascara I use over it. I haven't used their new mascara yet to see how they both work. I'll try it next time.😎

I’ve tried the L’Oréal primer, it flakes. I’ve tried the lash paradise and it also flakes. Tried both with several mascara brands so I believe it’s the primer. The only primer that works for me with all mascaras is the Lancôme Cils. I will try the Milani next.

You didn’t mention the only one I use which is Rimmel Scandaleyes. There’s two, but I use the one with the ball tip. I’m legally blind and have to hold my makeup mirror really close and it’s the only applicator I can use and not have a hot mess. The eyeliner stays put, doesn’t move or crack, and always looks good (it’s what my family tells me). I’m trying to figure out a way of saving the applicator in case Rimmel stops making it. As a legally blind woman it’s challenging to do my makeup, but it’s my favorite part of getting ready. Even though it generally takes me 20-30 minutes. I get a lot of compliments that I look put together. As an old blind woman of 62, I’ll take it! Absolutely love your videos. You’re definitely my favorite !

I LOVE the Physicians Formula Eye Booster Pen liners. The Deep Brown & Ultra Black are my holy grails. I've repurchased both more times than I can count. I've purchased dozens of different liners over the years, expensive and affordable, but I always end up reaching for my Eye Boosters by PF. The liners themselves last the better part of a year. They last all day on my watery eyes, never smudge, and are one of the most affordably easy ways to make a wing that won't budge. They're truly waterproof. They're not completely matte, but they're not glossy. They have more of a natural finish. I HIGHLY recommend them!

You're right about what works for some might not work for others. I don't know if maybe it was my eyeshadow but I bought the NYX matte liner and it cracked. Most of the product came off when I took my lashes off. Actually, my lashes had a hard time even sticking/staying to the liner. I even tried to let it completely dry before putting on my lashes

I love how in-depth and informative this was. I've been on the hunt for a good liquid eyeliners. I tend to have trouble with eyeliner fading, smudging, or falling apart on the outer corners of my eyes. I will say that the NYX matte eyeliner did not work for me (it would crumble on my eyes) even though I would love it on the initial application. So my search continues. Wonderful video!

This is off topic of the video. I just wanted to tell you that I bought the Too Faced Hangover Primer at your recommendation in a previous video. I have tried so many primers over the past 4 years to no avail. Even though I read mostly not great results about this primer I went ahead and tried it. I’m oily/combo skin. Plus I’m 57 years old with some starting wrinkles 😊. This primer has been wonderful with my Too Faced Peach Perfect foundation and my Urban Decay Stay Naked foundation. I haven’t yet tried it with my Estée Lauder Double Wear which I wear on special occasions. I’m going to start using the combo for the next week. I just want to say thank you so much for the suggestion. I know we are all different and what works for one may not work for another. However I really was at the end of my rope with primers. I used so many high end and drugstore to no avail. Honestly, of everything I’ve bought, used, and given to my granddaughter, the only one I kept was the Elf pink Poreless primer. That is now my holy grail drugstore and the Too Faced Hangover is my high end primer worth every penny 😊👍

For example, greasiness around the nose or makeup gathering under the corners of the mouth from smiling a lot. Makeup solutions for what happens during the day OR how to make sure they stop happening. Also, I have a short forehead, so how do I know where and how to apply shading/bronzer and WHERE to stop? A few tips like this would really help long time viewers who don't mind getting into the nitty gritty with you. Thanks for taking a look!

I would suggest an addition. I've bought recently the Revolution Renaissance Flick eyeliner. I don't know if it is my skin but that stuff won't come off at the end of the day. Makeup wipes? Tried. Bi phased products? Tried. And it will still be leftovers after them. I compare it to when I bought The Rocket mascara from Maybelline. That wouldn't come off on me either. They become kind of love /hate products for me because of how much trouble they cause to take off. I work in a place with a zero makeup policy.

I've used Maybelline waterproof mascara as an eyeliner for about 40 years. I did use a small brush, but switched to a bigger brush to apply it. Sometimes I use a felt pen from other eyeliners. I close the eye that I'm applying it on. I can get it on with just a few swipes across the lid. At my age I've given up on the wings. If I'm just going to make a quick run to the store, I use an eye pencil. It doesn't stay on me very long, but long enough for that.

If anyone wants to know of a wonderful black liquid liner ... try essence precise liquid liner. It’s a brush tip, and it’s my favorite!! Love the L’Oréal liner too

I have extensively tested the Nyx matte liner and it is STILL the best BY FAR!! Ironic that some of my worst experiences with eyeliners have been highend and luxury!! God bless you and your family. Dawn

Excellent video! I always buy higher end liner (Fenty Flyliner & UD Perversion are my two favs), but I’m so hesitant to try drugstore because I’ve been so let down by my purchases in the past.
