We all see the cute kitty cat, but underneath that Puss in Boots is, in essence, Loki. I mean he propped up the Miller's idiotic second son as a king, knowing full well that he was going to inevitably fail just for a laugh. I know Pib classifies as a Trickster spirit, but in hindsight, Loki is described as such in many Norse fables.
