Zac was only 19 when he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. It was aggressive; his surgeon urgently booked him in for open surgery to give him the best chance for a good outcome. Six months later, Zac was told his cancer had spread and he was rushed into surgery again, but this time he would be operated on by the surgeon-guided da Vinci Xi robot.
“I was back home pretty much the next day, and I got up a couple of hours after surgery,” Zac said.
