After watching 23 minutes of his highlights this is what I took from him, he is a great finisher at the rim, the way he moves around traffic with a euro or either gather step or just blow by a defender it really is great, he has great concentration when it comes to driving at the rim, he really doesn’t relocate or move around off ball much, which could be a liability in the nba games, he has an amazing jumpshot, the release timing and how high he reaches with it is great, but most of them are catch and shoot, and in the nba they’ll make adjustments and not leave him so open, he needs to work on shot creating and get his ball handle better to create the space for him and get others open, his vision is not there cuz plenty of time I seen teammates open when he drove and he made an awkward layup, with many defenders, I didn’t see so much defense plays but he plays a high speed that is normal for 19 year olds, he does have good iq for a the age he is, overall could be a great pick, he’ll developed soon !

Why was he chosen as the first pick? People are saying this year's draft class is weak, and if this is the best player available, teams should just trade their pick for an elite guard or wing. This player is seriously underperforming. He's tall but thin, and his body won't withstand the physical demands of 82 games against NBA defenders. His moves are below average any active NBA wingman, especially those with at least three years in the league who weren't even first-round picks, can move better than him. In my opinion, Stephon Castle would be a better fit for the number one pick.
