People keep referring to this draft as weak, but that would mean that everyone’s projections are spot on all of the time when in actuality the hardest pick to get right in the draft is usually the top three picks with the biggest bust potential and usually the later picks like Cam Whitmore at 20 end up flourishing referring to this draft weak is merely a projection not a fact and it’s becoming trendy thing to say

His upside is Michale Porter Jr in my opinion which means he could defintely be border line all star player. The problem man is that we have too many wings. Unless they trade Dillion Brooks or somebody else he not going to get any minutes His floor somebody mentioned it his floor is Treavor Ariza which is a good player. Would I be mad if the rockets pick him. Not really it’s just if we weren’t so loaded at the wing position I would be more excited in drafting him.

Let me try to sale you a lil bit ... im usually good at comping a guy but ... Zacc has some unique high points ... ok his shooting form is extremely balanced and consistent his releases are like almost always at the the same high point same quickness and pace that usually translates and he seemms extremely confident that they should fall even when the dont hes not measuring his shots thats huge pause ⏸ it means with more shots amd practice youll get consistency not mental blocks ... ie Jabari. His defense is super energetic and willing to hustle the whole play every thing that happens he is looking for an opportunity to effect the play hand feet tracking the ball recovering on playes a guy mskes a move on him hell hustle through mstakes ie tari . Ok this is my favorite i thing you guys under sold his explosiveness he is an absolute lob threat his hops are quick and springy not and escalators or nothing but his timing length and awareness makes his athletism a underrated part of his game ans like you guys said as a 3 at 6'9 6'10 his speed in transition with the ball is a weapon and he is able to take off early jump from outside the semi curcle and finish above the rim quickly.. he will put pressure on defenses and creat open shots on the break oh and he doesnt shy away from right or left hand finishes ... that being said we got a ton of 3s and hes not 4 rt now and not yhe kind of 4 i think we need but as a 3 absolute upside if by some chance tari wasnt there hed be a perfect prospect to develop and come off the bench i think his shooting would make it hard for Amen to outplay him he plays with style and Every good play is a possible highlight

@@conorcomiskey7269 to be totally honest I'm torn in a vacuum I take the best available big after workouts and 5v5s who ever has the Hustle and confidence best ball iq and shows he can improve his shooting I'd take each big has super strong advantages not to avoid your question I'd say clingon or sarr ... if they are gone and it's between zacc and Reed I take Reed hes a Steve Kerr to mark price maybe ... in my eyes now that's in a vaccume barring any trades if we decide to move pieces then I have yo consider zacc because he is probably the most versatile of all the top prospects ... so let's say we move like tari dillion or Jalen for Mikal then I'm taking Risacher because off the bench at 3 or if Jalen gone even at he could be a problem with he and cam they both shoot so quick and effortless they could be scary in the future... my bad about the long answer but yea I still think we need rim protection and some help for our best player alpi

Imo I think Zacch can play the 4 behind Jabari. If you watched the western conference finals, both teams had 3 rotation guys in the front court with a few of them being able to shoot 3’s. Could be the blue print moving forward

I’d like to pitch Risacher a bit with some points i have. Firstly his off ball movement was briefly noted but i believe its incredible and should not be glossed over. It has become a necessary skill in the NBA that the rockets lack from every player apart from Amen (who lacks spacing) on a consistent basis. Secondly, Risacher’s defensive positioning is great and seems to be a high iq defender at a very young age, he is always in frame defensively and on the rebounds. He also has a surprisingly fluid handle in transition with creativity showing flashes of upside there. Lastly, he is playing with fully developed men which could lead to his tendency for finesse shots, with age and work put in, NBA training should give him another dimension to his offensive and defensive capabilities.
@amirsteinberg96838 ай бұрын
I've seen footage - granted he is young - but Risacher seemed to trip over himself when he drove to the hoop and the defense kept leaving him open - they got burned but there must be a reason they kept leaving him open. I'd rather have a guy who you know 100% can shoot in Reid. I could see a well balanced lineup of Reid Shepard and Jalen Green (or Whitmore if we Green does not fulfill expectations or Whitmore as our 6th man), Amen at small forward, Jabari at power forward, and Alpi at center - that's a well rounded team with only 1 nonshooter! Reid reminds me of Stockton - one of the top 5 point guards of all time - great on defense with all the steals and a terrific shooter. Undersized but never seemed to be burned by other point guards.

He’s pretty redundant but the upside might push me to take him over Reed. Shooting + defense + size is impossible to come by and we need shooting so badly. Actually I think I still take Reed. Idk.
@jihadmuhammad94918 ай бұрын
He's not redundant because neither Tari and Brooks have the ability to be the best shooter on the team and he's taller than both of them. It's more redundant to take Sheppard because he gives us nothing that FVV cannot. Even if we lost FVV, he will be behind Amen. Nobody wants a bench player as a top 3 pick.
@ckm60578 ай бұрын
Stop the comparison to Jabari. He is a stretch 4. Risacher is a 3. Who I envision playing behind Tari. ZR is also another long defender who can defend positions 1-4. I believe his shooting and shot creation gets better with strength. Same with Jabari and JG.

Great pod guys. Jackson I'm with you I have tried and I'm still puzzled about the hype on this guy. I was so unimpressed after watching film on him I dug up more film trying to see if I missed something. this guy has BUST wrote all over him. he suffers from the worst trait I could label any player with....HE'S SOFT. the NBA is going to chew him up and spit him out. I would be pissed if the Rockets draft this guy. to me clearly Castle, Reed, Clingan, Knecht, Dillingham and even Eddy are better than him. to draft him is throwing the #3 pick in the trash can.
