I loved it…. I cried through the entire thing.. my dad fought oxy addiction .. it was hard to watch but I was invested and the message I got was that love conquers every obstacle. Forgiveness and love is the answer.

Look, I’m not against age gap relationships when they’re two adults. Pugh is an adult and can date a guy 20 years older if that’s her thing. More power to her. But there’s something creepy about calling her a “young actress” when she was your girlfriend.

I don't really get what's so creepy about it? Even if the age difference might seem unusual to me, she's an adult, she can make those decisions. And calling her a "young actress" is just a factual description for a woman in her 20s, who can possibly still have decades ahead of her in this job. We are not talking about a teenager, which would be a totally different thing.

There are lots of relationships like that. Look at Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Sam Taylor-Wood, they are 23 years apart. Nothing creepy as long as the younger partner is old enough to make their own choices in life.

However, Aaron Taylor Johnson was still a teenager, so I wouldn't apply the same logic there. If he was 2-3 years older, sure, but at 18, it's still too borderline to be okay. Especially with a difference this big.
