yall stop hating, he sounds good (or a lot better then many other singers sound live) and can you not see the TEARS in his eyes. this is a HIGHLY emotional song for him to sing. so calm down and quit acting like you could do better 🤚

my dad passed 05/23, the day before zach released this song. we weren't the closest, but it still hurts the same. still filled with so much regret and guilt. Loving this song, has gotten me through a rough couple months

First time I heard this song I broke down in tears thinking of my mother who passed on October 24, 2009. There have been moments since she passed where she has reminded me of her presence through music at key times in my life. The fact that it was released on May 24, 2024, one day before my birthday on May 25 (the day that I first heard it) is no coincidence. She was definitely reminding me that she's looking down on me as I've been going through a really tough time the last several months. It was her way of reaching out and letting me know she was still there watching over me.

Question for ya, do you know about the state of the dead? Have you ever thought that a loved one who believed in Jesus christ, is allowed to look down upon you? They would see you struggle and couldn't do anything about it. In my research and opinion as a Christian, Presbyterian, God would not allow someone look down and watch the pain and suffering in the world life. When God ends the earth, every believing Christian will have eternal life in paradise. The book of revaluations explains it.

This song came at the right time for me, my grandfather passed on the 8th of June, because of his passing we have been able to reconnect with his family, but this song just reminds me of him, especially when I see a pink sky.
